Seriously though how hot is England normally, 17 is a jumper day in Australia, if you were at the beach people would think you are autistic or high or stupid or something.
21c Over here. It's pretty good.
Huh, it's nice that we're getting some warmer weather but 17c is not hot at all in this country. It only starts to bother me when it goes past the 25-30 mark.
Seriously though how hot is England normally, 17 is a jumper day in Australia, if you were at the beach people would think you are autistic or high or stupid or something.
wtf you think people outside when it's mild have mental disabilities?
Seriously though how hot is England normally, 17 is a jumper day in Australia, if you were at the beach people would think you are autistic or high or stupid or something.
Here in the south, the average summer temperature is usually around ~20. So 17 is a perfectly reasonable temperature to go to the beach during, especially when it's barely even spring.
Seriously though how hot is England normally, 17 is a jumper day in Australia, if you were at the beach people would think you are autistic or high or stupid or something.
it's usually like 8c in February with wind chill as well so it's a p crazy leap to 17c just a day or two into spring
wtf you think people outside when it's mild have mental disabilities?
I don't but I went swimming in June once when I was little and my dad was asked if I was autistic. It was a heated pool
I like to imagine that somewhere in London is a tourist from California wearing a puffer jacket and thermals while everyone around him hails him as the first person to be immune to heat.
happy days. Gardening done and even mowed the lawn, now I have an ice cream and chillin
Seriously though how hot is England normally, 17 is a jumper day in Australia, if you were at the beach people would think you are autistic or high or stupid or something.
Average maximum heat in the UK for March is ~9.8C so 8 degrees warmer than usual is going to feel quite nice, considering unlike Australia the average temperature range isn't like 20 - 40C.
Are you guys serious? 17 celsius is still cold to us south east asians standards
Are you guys serious? 17 celsius is still cold to us south east asians standards
Thanks for sharing that people in warmer climates tend to be used to the heat, while people in colder climates tend to be amazed when it's suddenly 8 degrees warmer than usual.

At least its warmer than it is here. Yesterday was our hottest day and we're still buried in ice and snow
Holy shit Britain your weather fucking sucks.

I haven't seen the sun for years until today, it penetrated my retinas like the sun god himself injected my eyes with those godly rays of his/hers I don't know. stop it, I can't take this anymore. Where is the rain, give me rain please.
send me your guys' weather thanks in advance, we're still in a polar vortex or s/t and everything is awful
I hope our summer isn't like last year. Even when I got inside, I was frying like bacon.
Holy shit Britain your weather fucking sucks.
Assuming flagdog is right and you are from Poland, the average temperatures between Poland and England are practically the same except you get colder winters. If our weather sucks, so does yours.
Assuming flagdog is right and you are from Poland, the average temperatures between Poland and England are practically the same except you get colder winters.
Driving home from the gym in this weather was fucking glorious, especially blasting hooked on a feeling like a massive mong
Not sure what you just said there, but interested.
yes i too like to make needless arbitrary comparisons to other locations like the surface of mercury we get it - different parts of the world have different norms thank you
Thank god the comparison police are on patrol, or else my eyes would have never seen the truth like how the surface of mercury is something completely relevant to terrestrial observations. Really, I don't see the need for a hatred on simply comparing the temperatures between two places where people actually live (no we're not comparing to the Antarctic, nor Mercury), when I saw how people thought 17C was a hot day in Britain, I was surprised considering even we get hotter days. It's also hardly arbitrary in my eyes. It's interesting and it's what many people were thinking (considering they might not have known this is a hot day in Britain), comparing that to their usual temperature, please stop enforcing your opinion as if it was right, sure you might think it's arbitrary, but considering the agrees on that post I can see many people don't.

im amazed the vast majority of you dont get it, its the beginning of march and its not cold its the hottest day SO FAR, basically let me break it down for you: it means that no day since the beginning of the year has hit this temperature, however, that does not mean that this day will be the hottest day of 2014, therefore this is not considered a hot day, but it is the HOTTEST day so far god man i just wonder how some of you guys can function in society

In my opinion, the worst thing about weather threads are the people like you that jump on people that like to compare locations. Just because you dislike it is no reason to waste thread space arguing about it
