I think it's really interesting how people are acclimated differently based on where on planet they live. The human body is great.
so this thread is basically British weather elitists arguing with foreign weather elitists about arguing about weather elitism while people try to make witty commentary about british weather elitists arguing with foreign weather elitists
This is so fucking stupid. When Americans complain about a cold and snowy winter, everyone else is like "lol deal with it fags". Now when we make fun of Brits for having a warmer than usual day, we get told to shut the fuck up. Get the fuck over yourselves.
Maybe, just maybe, the people telling you to stop complaining about the snow and the people you want to 'make fun of' AREN'T The same people!
That's what we're laughing at, the fact that Britains have such a specific temperature range in which they can comfortably live.
Because that's the weather we live in 90% of the time? Why would be used to >20c or <0c temperatures when we're never exposed to it for anything more than a week at once
Condolences to our ex-subjects across the sea who have to put up with extreme high and extreme low temperatures. Please tell us again about that awful 40C you have to deal with. I used to live in CT and one summer it was 100F+ then it was like -20F in the winter.
If the weather is like that all the time I think I'm moving to Britian [editline]10th March 2014[/editline] Fuck Queensland weather seriously

I don't think your weather is going to be that moderate for very much longer, the ocean jet streams are changing, it's the reason why the US winter was so bad. I honestly think you guys are going to start experiencing all 4 seasons, I'm deducing this from the high amount of 'ZOMG WEATHER IS SO BAD" threads that have popped up in the past year. Basically what I'm trying to say, in a really nice way is, get used to it because I think climates all over the world are going to get a little more extreme. I'm laughing at what your idea of extreme weather is, because to me a hot day would be like 85f 75% humidity. We just had the worst winter here in the past 100 years, some days it was -35f and in total we've had over 100 inches of snow fall, my county never even declared a state of emergency.
Just more daily mail click farming when they havent got anything better to write about. Whats the point of even making a thread. All it does it stir up Americans which in turn stirs up Brits, completely pointless.
its sunny again guys something terrible must be about to happen
I wore Shorts out today, blinded half the town with my pasty white legs.
I wore Shorts out today, blinded half the town with my pasty white legs.
Fuck that. It's cloudy as balls and chilly in Oxford. Exact opposite of yesterday. I'll stay inside cheers. :v:
I'm scared, the sky is blue and there is a big yellow ball in the sky. Why isn't the sky grey?
This sounds like it would've been the perfect time to travel the the U.K
We've got some reluctant sun up in Aberdeen, not particularly toasty though, it's like 10/11 degrees.
This sounds like it would've been the perfect time to travel the the U.K
Nah, you want to do that around July when we get a couple weeks of proper sunshine!
Getting a little bit of occasional sunlight down here in the South West, nothing interesting though still only around 12 degrees
