MGS franchise focuses mostly on militarism and paramilitarism but also has some sci-fi, drama and even paranormal stuff. I wonder if the players will be able to buy cyber augmentations or get upgraded with strange powers a la psycho mantis to make it more varied instead of just being soldiers shooting each other.
MGO2 had skill trees and shit. For example you could be have CQC Level 1, 2, 3, or Master. It was also really nice since you could change out which skills you had. You would have to level up your Firearms skill, but if you decided that CQC would be better for a match, you could switch it out.
One of the levels better be a box factory
imagine if it was like that box processing area in MGS2 with all the conveyor belts and stuff :v: that would have so much potential for fun
Still, it's an actual issue.
citation needed [editline]27th November 2014[/editline] i've never seen anyone from japan or rus speaking english do anything like that. they don't just forget racist connotations in the shift to english
You know who they should hire to do some voice acting in MGO? David Hayter.

People throw it around like slang and others who aren't 100% fluent in English pick it up without knowing the exact meaning.
All I remember about MGO was people running in circles and instakilling you. Idk how everyone thought it was so fun. Also a ton of F2P style micro-transactions for clothing n shit.

If you had the map packs though you could play competively and win points, which you could buy clothing with. I guess they added micro transactions for clothing later on.
A few Japanese (And Russian for some reason) people I know don't quite realize the word's politically incorrect, so they use it completely straight because they think it's cool. It's more of the English as a second language problem where they also try to learn slang.
Nigger exists in russian (negr) with the same connotation.
I don't give a damn what Kojima shows unless it's a release date.
I had a dream about Kojima last niggt after reading this thread. I met him in passing and we ended up hanging out for awhile except somebody drugged me so my vision got all fucky and I started acting awful. Eventually it got to the point where I fucked up bad enough that Kojima didn't like me anymore and I left in shame. :(

Although it took up all your skill slots, getting close to someone for a CQC throw could instantly KO them, no ifs or buts. The result was pretty much everyone considering it overpowered despite the fact that the gameplay was based around guns and they're idiots for letting a CQC player get so close to begin with, and thus they started booting everyone who had it. Then again, they also tried to boot anyone who kicked their asses, too. Spawn killing is a dick move, sure, but if I round a corner and shotgun them in the chest as they fly backwards, booting me for considering knockback overpowered (which you can negate with a skill, by the way) is pretty bullshit.
I remember one of the things I am ashamed of, back when I was younger my older brother and I would play MGO on MGS4 and we would be really immature, incapacitate people, choke-hold them, repeatedly tap back on the analog stick and spam the "Let's do it!" voice clip.
https://twitter.com/HIDEO_KOJIMA_EN/status/538145782306590721
So it won't be the integrated multiplayer in the main game at least, meaning it really will be entirely separate as usual. For the most part. Wouldn't hurt to see co-op in the main story, though, even if you just saw the other player's Big Boss as a generic trooper.

Even with your back turned away from them and in the middle of another animation, even something that you couldn't previously do CQC with. In a CQC only room, you where god damn untouchable in a room full of people all trying to throw you down. Hilarious but horrifying at the same time. People rarely used Toughness to counter shotguns and explosives, since anyone who used a Shotgun would get instantly voted and kicked from the room, even if they are the room maker and host. Thats if the host hasnt banned the weapon first, mind. And the Shotgun was a weak weapon that was unable to get Headshots unless you buy Slug rounds. Which was a death sentence in a game so Headshot heavy. I like it when Shotguns are a rare sight because then you can terrorize people while they don't know how to deal with you as well. When everyone uses one, thats then things get problematic, there are counters for the Shotgun but because everyone had their head so far up their own arse with the meta that you didn't have to worry about people shrugging off shotgun rounds to the chest unless a hero character was in play or there was "that" guy. I hope the Shotguns in MGO 3 stay a rare sight and satisfying to use, and the only way to find out if it works is if you manage to piss someone off and get kicked for it.
Charm > every other skill. It felt great when vamp was chasing you down and then all of a sudden he stops to inspect your hip thrusting.
Nigger exists in russian (negr) with the same connotation.
No it doesn't. Nigger exists in russian as a loanword. Negr has the same meaning as "negro" and isn't considered a slur by anyone.
