Really EA? You've resorted to making fun of mental disabilities now? If people needed another reason not to like EA they sure do now.
I agree this is really low.

I literally burst out laughing.
God, EA is not even in the same fucking league as Oddworld Inhabitants. If anything, Oddworld should buy out EA, burn their offices, and then use the EA staff as voices for mudokon slaves..
But on a serious note, I'm so glad they have made a return. I will always have a small warm section of my heart dedicated to Abe.
If only all devs realised that EA are total cunts like the Oddworld devs did
With the rep EA has I think every dev realizes how bullshit it is to work for EA, but rather what ends up happening is that most of them are public so EA goes behind the scenes to buy out the share holders then when it hits 51% of holding all the shares it decides "Hey, ____ Is going to join EA! Go us!"
Bless you Lanning.
Bless you.
The most appropriate answer to EA's offers.
With this much hostility "We wish Lorne luck on the game and recommend Lithium for the paranoia and Tourette Syndrome" you are basically saying "yeah we've made him an offer and he cussed at us".
Fuck EA.
I hope that the people who control EA get cancer and aids. Fuck you.

Pretty hilarious considering Moore owns five cars and Gibeau owns his own jets. Not jet, jetS. Who the fuck do they think they're fooling?
This is what happens when you're insulated.
omg ~<3
Not so much sinking, more like getting rusty at an alarming rate
Okay, old, rusting Cold-war era Soviet submarine sitting at the docks with a outdated and poorly maintained reactor with conscripted crew low on morale and alcoholic captain.
Why didn't Westwood have the same courage? ;_;
he doesn't submit to us so we'll brand him as insane

that guy is a total winner and fuck you EA
oh wait do i have tourettes now
Fuck shit tits, fuuck EA!
Everyone has tourettes when talking about EA.
The EA business model is basically a decaying corporate dinosaur in a world of indie mammals, Their business model is not sustainable, their attempts at assuaging their own impending demise misguided by the same antique minds that got them in the mess they are in in the first place
They should sell their mental property and retire rich, there's no direction to go but down from this PR nightmare they have orchestrated.
So glad oddworld inhabitants have risen from the grave, they made the best games of my childhood.
They made the best games full stop - abe's exoddus has always been my #1 game. There's simply no other non-oddworld game with the same gameplay, and the story and art are both fucking unbelievable. Even at 640x480 the environments capture me in a way only a handful of other games have managed. I wish more games focused on art and immersion rather than 'good' graphics.
Wow EA that'FUCKs sinking to a nCUNTew low.
Does that mean i now have tourTWATettes now?
It's official, everyone who disagrees with EA now has Tourettes.
Wow, both parties are so mature about this.
Wow, both parties are so mature about this.
Well the difference is one speaks for himself as an individual and the other speaks for a multi-million dollar corporation.
Re-read the article, EA claims that there never was a buyout offer.

Even if there wasn't one, EA really shot themselves in the foot with a response mocking mental illness.
EA are like a bunch of fucking locusts. Fuck EA.
They keep trying to buy studios just to kill them and milk
their stuff dry. :(
Why is everyone so upset now with EA? They had a shitty time where they applied bad policies and dumb marketing. They were assholes.
But EA has managed to regain a bit of popularity. Although you never get a clear sight on what is going on.
I really love Oddworld, they make great games.
Lanning indicated that there's more to tell but that he can't. "If fans heard me vent and were just like "you're a pussy, you're a complainer". You know what, you don't know the half of it. I don't mean to be condescending to fans it's just true. The real dirty shit we can't talk about because there's laws and all-powerful leaders."
Now I wanna know.

the fuck do you mean 'had'
There is a major trend for blaming EA for everything possible.
They used to be quite bad and fucking everything up, but they went uphill for some time now. They release good games and are somewhat decent.
Also EA is a giant company with a lot of workers and such, there is always bound to be a problem in some departement. It is difficult to handle everything rightly.
lol EA. Way to trivialize the seriousness of Tourette Syndrome.

No, wrong, step back and look harder, EA started out every bit as noble as any in the business, their steady decline into madness has been going on since the dawn of gaming nearly, this isn't a recent event.
Also EA doesn't release good games anymore, they produce good games made by people with actual talent from the companies they buy out than they force tight deadlines and generally choke the creative process to make every last cent they can for their meager investments. They're a business dinosaur and have literally no place left in the world.
They are indeed a professional business and they do tend to develop a lot of games that are somewhat generic, except a few ones. Still they release polished and overall games of good quality. They might lack the punch of other games that are being developped by smaller studios.

I just told you they don't 'develop' shit, they produce shit. Producers provide the funding to devs that allows them to make their games.
What EA does however is provides the money, than imposes strict deadlines, forces bugged releases, ignores their consumer base's protests and generally pulls shit like this article on a bi-weekly basis and generally sucks enormous swollen parasite infested junkie balls all at the expense of clueless pricks who accidentally buy their games, providing not the developers who made it with money, but EA.

BF3 seems to be doing just fine. I've a couple pre-ordered games from EA that I look forward to. Mainly Warfighter and Simcity 5.
