Are you telling me that a shark spitting tornado doesn't actually exist.
Barring a few unfortunate blackfins or blue sharks or what have you getting sucked up by a waterspout and dropped on land, no.
I really like these crackpot documentaries, they're amusing to watch. however I don't like what they did to the history channel and the discovery channel keep that shit on youtube
I'm just glad my discovery channel still airs things like "How it's made". I believe the majority of the good programs now air on their Discovery science channel or something which you need a separate subscription for here. [editline]7th August 2013[/editline]
Discovery started sucking years ago when (at the time) it became all about building motorcycles and yelling at each other instead of cool science stuff.
It started with American Chopper, sure. But it wasn't too bad back then with only one reality show. Then came the crab fishers and the ice pilots and the hillbilly handfishing and the moonshiners etc.
How'd you manage to travel back in time? Take me with you next time! On a serious note, I'd say that's quite untrue. Our Discovery Channel does get some educational content (not sure how much more compared to the U.S.) but it's definitely not anywhere near all the time. Maybe you're thinking of one of Discovery Channel's variations like Discovery World?
No, I'm not. Like hell, the Americans don't even get the Daily Planet show. In America it's like 24/7 Cajun Pawn Stars. iirc they even had a show about biker gangs fighting. Seriously go look at the Canadian schedule and then compare it to the American one. I once died from dirty shark needles that I got from unprotected sex with a corpse of a mouse
I miss documentaries
Canadian Discovery Channel is WAAAAAAAAAAAAY better than the American Discovery Channel. Like there is actually educational stuff on nearly all the time.
We still have gold mining, fake moonshiners and overly tacticool firearms. It's not that much better. [editline]7th August 2013[/editline] I don't even know if we still have Mythbusters on the Canadian Discover Channel.
We humans have actually killed several orders of magnitude more sharks then the sharks have killed humans. Hell I have eaten shark and you can even get it at shitload of fish markets.
I don't even know if we still have Mythbusters on the Canadian Discover Channel.
Of course we fuckin do. Besides, I never said it was perfect just a shit ton better.

Discovery channel is kind of meh now. TLC has Honey Boo Boo, History has Ancient Aliens, and now Discovery is doing the same shit
Discovery channel is kind of meh now. TLC has Honey Boo Boo, History has Ancient Aliens, and now Discovery is doing the same shit
TLC is also owned by Discovery.
Theirs actually looks better than ours right now but that's probably just because it's Shark Week and only today is displayed on the U.S. schedule.
It displays the whole week. It's just displayed in a shitty way, it's displayed vertically so just keep scrolling.

Which was really obvious because no one could act worth shit.
