Then the system only works with the poor. It screws over rich people.
yes, how dare we tax those people more who have five houses and fifteen cars
What obama did was blow up the Massachusetts system to the national scale.
Oh look Massachusetts is in debt.
Canada has the population of New York and Texas. Australia has the population of Texas.
Canada is smaller than that. Canada's population is about 34 million, which is about the same as the UK. New York + Texas is like 45 million.
Iraq was a total disaster but didn't cost nearly as many lives.
nearly many lives as what?
Here in the US they are running in to problems, perhaps we should look at the Scandinavian programs and see what we can learn.
Scandinavia also has a lot of money. I may be generalizing a bit, but the reason Norway isn't in the EU is because they have tons of Oil money and have all that ocean for fishing. Joining the EU would let other countries in on their fishing space and they'd get oil benefits I think. Socialized medicine may work in some countries like Norway, with nothing to do but spend money. Plus my grandpa died because of socialized health care in England so I don't support it. The doctors didn't perform a procedure they would have done immediately in the USA. They said come back in two weeks. He died 3 days later. :sigh: hearts would be nice :3
yes, how dare we tax those people more who have five houses and fifteen cars
You're saying it like they don't deserve them.
nearly many lives as what?
wwi
Take too of the bigger states, compare the canadian population to them and make logical fallacies, good plan. Also, England is closer to double Canada's population.
If you disagree you're an idiot.
Sweet debating skills
Also, international approval ratings are important, don't pretend they're not.
They're important but hardly make you a good president.
Canada is smaller than that. Canada's population is about 34 million, which is about the same as the UK. New York + Texas is like 45 million.
You're right.
Afghanistan works and we are winning, Iraq was a total disaster but didn't cost nearly as many lives.
Lol. We chased all the terrorists to Pakistan, and now we're stuck being Border Patrol for Afghanistan to keep them from moving back. Sounds like a success to me.
Oh look Massachusetts is in debt.
oh look we're kinda still in a recession
You're saying it like they don't deserve them.
Some don't. I don't think the CEO of a big bank or oil company deserves to be rolling in cash and all the luxury that comes with it. A middle class blue collar worker probably works harder in a day than they do in a week.
oh look we're kinda still in a recession
Due to regulation and spending.
Also, England is closer to double Canada's population.
Yeah, you're right. I thought the UK was 30 million, but I just looked on Wikipedia and it's 60 million.
Sweet debating skills They're important but hardly make you a good president.
It's not a debate, it's the truth. Also, a president tries to make his country better, both internationally and domestically, high approval rating is important for the country, so a president with high approval ratings is helping his country.
Some don't. I don't think the CEO of a big bank or oil company deserves to be rolling in cash and all the luxury that comes with it. A middle class blue collar worker probably works harder in a day than they do in a week.
Some =/= all. Most rich people I know work very hard and just as hard as blue collar workers.
Harrison
It was an exciting month.
Some don't. I don't think the CEO of a big bank or oil company deserves to be rolling in cash and all the luxury that comes with it. A middle class blue collar worker probably works harder in a day than they do in a week.
How did the CEO get to being a CEO? Do you seriously think that he was born one or what? He paid his dues. He worked his way up the ladder. He was probably a blue collar worker when he first started out and worked his way up by working hard. So you're saying he doesn't deserve the nice things he has because why again?
It's not a debate, it's the truth. Also, a president tries to make his country better, high approval rating is important for the country, so a president with high approval ratings is helping his country.
No, because internationally they could be doing things very very very wrong, and then they hate him because he's doing the right thing for the country. Just an example.
wwi
4412 killed and 31874 wounded in an unjustified/illegal war comparing it to other war's casualties is just stupid. that's 4412 families destroyed right there and 31,874 other people who will be traumatized for the rest for the rest of their life.
How did the CEO get to being a CEO? Do you seriously think that he was born one or what? He paid his dues. He worked his way up the ladder.
Due to regulation and spending.
debateable
No, because internationally they could be doing things very very very wrong, and then they hate him because he's doing the right thing for the country. Just an example.
Just being black makes people like him, so he doesn't even have to do anything for approval ratings.
He doesn't deserve to wipe his ass with cash when there are people in the world that are starving to death.
Yes he does, because he earned the money. He can do whatever the fuck he wants with his money. We have to have a system that works for EVERYONE, not just the poor. [editline]10:27PM[/editline]
Just being black makes people like him, so he doesn't even have to do anything for approval ratings.
What are you trying to prove.
Due to deregulation and spending.
fixed you can thank the Republicans for both of those things
How did the CEO get to being a CEO? Do you seriously think that he was born one or what? He paid his dues. He worked his way up the ladder. He was probably a blue collar worker when he first started out and worked his way up by working hard. So you're saying he doesn't deserve the nice things he has because why again?
Because the guy who slaves away in the corner office doesn't make it to the top, he keeps slaving away in the corner office. The CEO wasn't recognized for hard work, he was chosen because he had connections, or was related to somebody with influence in the company and got a job from that easily. Sure some of the rich work hard for their money, but the vast majority of the middle class work their lives away for enough money to survive on.
Some don't. I don't think the CEO of a big bank or oil company deserves to be rolling in cash and all the luxury that comes with it. A middle class blue collar worker probably works harder in a day than they do in a week.
Most CEO don't get their money from their salary anyway. They buy buttloads of stock in their company and others. Blue collar workers can work the stock market too.
Yes he does, because he earned the money. He can do whatever the fuck he wants with his money. We have to have a system that works for EVERYONE, not just the poor.
Some people are still born into riches, I'm pretty sure Bush only got president because his dad was. Also don't kid yourself, just because you work to the top doesn't mean you get to shit all over the poor. If people are starving it's your human duty to help them if you can.
