How did the CEO get to being a CEO?
Do you seriously think that he was born one or what?
He paid his dues. He worked his way up the ladder. He was probably a blue collar worker when he first started out and worked his way up by working hard.
So you're saying he doesn't deserve the nice things he has because why again?
regardless of them being lazy or not, they could survive with higher taxes than the rest of the population.
He doesn't deserve to wipe his ass with cash when there are people in the world that are starving to death.
It's his cash who the hell are you to say otherwise? You pay taxes right? you're more than welcome to pay more taxes to the IRS than you need to. They can use your money to help those people. Why not? You sure do love to pass judgment on everyone else.
Sweet debating skills
even though that probably wasn't the best way to put it, he's right
I honestly can't see how anyone in their right mind could say that Obama is just as bad as Bush or worse than him
What are you trying to prove.
What are you trying to prove?
Everyone loves him and he hasn't fucked up internationally like Bush did.
fixed
you can thank the Republicans for both of those things
Regulation has had its fair share of negative impact on the recession. Spending over a trillion dollars to bail out the very companies that got us into this mess just put us deeper into the hole and was just a slap on the wrist.
It's his cash who the hell are you to say otherwise? You pay taxes right? you're more than welcome to pay more taxes to the IRS than you need to. They can use your money to help those people. Why not? You sure do love to pass judgment on everyone else.
Because I'm not living on a yacht with a 7 digit salary.
Goose, do you agree with Bush cutting taxes for the rich?
Most CEO don't get their money from their salary anyway. They buy buttloads of stock in their company and others.
Blue collar workers can work the stock market too.
Buying stocks is something you do with excess money that you can risk losing.
What are you trying to prove?
Everyone loves him
Yay for fallacies.
Yes he does, because he earned the money. He can do whatever the fuck he wants with his money.
We have to have a system that works for EVERYONE, not just the poor.
If you make millions of dollars a year I'd say the system works pretty well for you.
Because the guy who slaves away in the corner office doesn't make it to the top, he keeps slaving away in the corner office. The CEO wasn't recognized for hard work, he was chosen because he had connections, or was related to somebody with influence in the company and got a job from that easily. Sure some of the rich work hard for their money, but the vast majority of the middle class work their lives away for enough money to survive on.
So how are you going to be promoted if nobody even knows that you exist?
You can pump out incredible work, but if nobody knows what you're doing you aren't getting promoted.
Just talk to the higher ups occasionally about what you're doing.
regardless of them being lazy or not, they could survive with higher taxes than the rest of the population.
They already have high taxes.
Like I said, you can pay more taxes voluntarily. Why don't you?
Because I'm not living on a yacht with a 7 digit salary.
Most CEO's make 8, at least the bigger ones do.
What are you trying to prove?
Everyone loves him and he hasn't fucked up internationally like Bush did.
you're a teensy bit deluded
What are you trying to prove?

I'm trying to prove that international ratings don't mean shit to the point where they start effecting treaties.
Yay for fallacies.
He was saying it's irrelevant if people like you if you fuck up internationally, however, Obama hasn't screwed up, and people like him.
Which is a win win.
How is that a fallacy?
Because I'm not living on a yacht with a 7 digit salary.
ohhh ok so you're better than them I see.
regardless of them being lazy or not, they could survive with higher taxes than the rest of the population.
They do, rich people have up to 40% of their income go to federal taxes.
I'm trying to prove that international ratings don't mean shit.
What everyone else thinks of you doesn't matter?
If everyone really hates you, they will band together, form alliances, and destroy you with embargos.

You make it sound so easy.
Most CEO's make 8, at least the bigger ones do.
Psshhhh, only big CEOs make that much.
What everyone else thinks of you doesn't matter?

I fixed my post.
ohhh ok so you're better than them I see.
Why are you putting words into my mouth?
I never said I was better than them, giving to the poor only to put myself into a greater debt is just a downward spiral.
On the other hand, if you have millions of dollars and tons of resources, you should be helping the poor.
They do, rich people have up to 40% of their income go to federal taxes.
good
He was saying it's irrelevant if people like you if you fuck up internationally, however, Obama hasn't screwed up, and people like him.

How is that a fallacy?
He said "Everyone loves him".
Why do I have to explain this?
good
Exactly, we don't need tax increases or decreases, we're at a happy medium right now.
We're just spending like madmen which isn't very good.
I fixed my post.
But where do you draw the line?
Why is a bit of free ratings bad?
Why are you putting words into my mouth?
[B]I never said I was better than them, giving to the poor only to put myself into a greater debt is just a downward spiral.

many do.
They do, rich people have up to 40% of their income go to federal taxes.
Which is unjust. You shouldn't punish people for succeeding. And you can always pull the "Well, they inherited all that money and don't deserve it." Fine, that's true. but there's no way to weed out the ones that actually earned the money and those who just got lucky.
If I do a good job and make a lot of money, the government shouldn't take that much away.
That's redistribution of wealth.
If we're going to be socialist let's just be socialist already.
He said "Everyone loves him".
Why do I have to explain this?
Okay so nevermind then
Exactly, we don't need tax increases or decreases, we're at a happy medium right now.
