So...We make robot jellyfish...and it improves our medicine technology?

wat
Yes. We could be able to create artificial body parts with this stuff.

Yes, they basically used heart cells to construct a synthetic organism. They could use this knowledge to produce stuff like human organ replacements and biological machines in the future.
For those not in the know, this basically shows that we are able to engineer tissue without organic material as the primary structure.
AKA Synth tissue.
And tissue is the fourth tier of the building blocks of life.
Thus we can make synthetic organs.
And that is fucking amazing.
Yup, in that film there is a crashed alien spacecraft on the sea bed.
It has a huge sphere inside which makes your worst fears reality. That guy really hates jellyfish.
It's not an alien spacecraft, it's an american spacecraft that travelled back in time via a black hole. The sphere itself is an alien life form, and it makes you project your dreams and fears into reality. Eventually, the entire crew uses it and it becomes a gigantic mind-bending clusterfuck.
Pretty good movie if i do say so myself.
how does this make you feel?

I can already feel my body being stinged, burned, damaged, electrocuted, by that thing.
In fact I think it will try and pull me in if I get near it.

Can't we already make organic organs?
This is cool, maybe one day they will make a suitable replacement for my horribly mutilated butthole

It;s good how new technology can really help the disadvantaged in this world like yourself.
Soon we'll be able to scan our pets and make a backup so if/when they die you can print out an exact replica and it'll be exactly the same pet as it was when it was scanned.
Pirating living things
You wouldn't download a Bieber
[sp]I would[/sp]
Just imagine you won't watch the porn but you'll do the porn (downloadable girls oh god)
This reminds me somehow of "splice"
Whenever bioengineering like this gets brought up I always end up thinking about the HL2 Combine synths (semi-biological machines) such as the striders.
You're not the only one.
how the fuck do jellyfish work. They have like, 2 organs, no brains, heart, nothing.
Fucking magic.
They just go with the flow, literally and figuratively.
