China is second on the list in your post. The one under America. And per capita, doesn't that mean per person? Of course China's is going to be lower per capita, they have a much higher population. The companies they have though do still spew out pretty much on par with the US.
What per capita means is that a single American pollutes more than a single Chinese person. That's the thing people need to understand.
So the US produced as much pollution as a billion+ populated country? Disgusting.
I'm not defending the US's emissions, I'm saying that you shouldn't be blindly defending China because they have their fair share of emissions as well.

Their land mass is only slightly smaller than the US; https://www.cia.gov/library/publications/the-world-factbook/rankorder/2147rank.html?countryName=China&countryCode=ch&regionCode=eas&rank=4#ch while they have 4 times the amount of people living there as the US.
I'm not defending the US's emissions, I'm saying that you shouldn't be blindly defending China because they have their fair share of emissions as well.
He's not "blindly defending" China.
We still make stuff worth boycotting? Or rather, We still make stuff?
Each American doesn't necessarily pollute more though because that site is stating CO2 emissions from the entire country, including factories and any other large business, as well as from people. America and its factories pollutes the most in the world, and China and its factories pollutes 2nd most in the world. [editline]07:57PM[/editline]
He's not "blindly defending" China.
He has the evidence within his own post, then contradicts himself with the "shut up about China."
TOP 10 EMITTERS National power sector emissions (in tonnes of CO2): US - 2,530 million China - 2,430 million Russia - 600 million India - 529 million Japan - 363 million Germany - 323 million Australia - 205 million South Africa - 201 million UK - 192 million South Korea - 168 million (Source: Carma/CGD) Per capita: http://www.nationmaster.com/graph/env_pol_car_dio_per_cap-pollution-carbon-dioxide-per-capita USA is #1 China doesn't even make the top #30. Please, americans, shut up about China.
You're forgetting the big one; Power generation.

It is the most accurate reflection of a person in a country
Do you seriously not understand the importance of per capita statistics
I guess I don't because it seems to me that when talking about a country's power sector's emissions like this, per capita doesn't have anything to do with it. [editline]08:03PM[/editline]
It's "Per Capita". It is the most accurate reflection of a person in a country
That would be true if the emissions data above was done as a per capita stand point, but he drew a conclusion per capita from the power sector's emissions, not just the peoples.
there is good news about this we can track the signal and finaly catch him unless the government is to lazy.......
Why should the government want advice from a terrorist.
Bin Laden is just mad because with global warming now he has to invest money in getting central air conditioning in his cave.
He has the evidence within his own post, then contradicts himself with the "shut up about China."
The evidence shows that America pollutes just as much as China, despite America having less than a third of China's population. It's not a close second. That's the point he was making. America pollutes just as much as China despite not being anywhere near as big as China. [editline]08:40PM[/editline]
there is good news about this we can track the signal and finaly catch him unless the government is to lazy.......
you can't "track the signal" of a video tape you dummy. What, do you think he was broadcasting live? Because America is causing global warming lol. Nothing is really American made anymore, basically he wants to boycott china and other outsourced items.
You're an idiot.
My life is complete now, right?
I always knew osama was a high ranking peta official, so is obama.
My life is complete now, right?
nope, you're just wrong. good old fashioned "i consider anyone who's political ideas are different from mine terrorist supporters" wrong [editline]08:46PM[/editline]
I always knew osama was a high ranking peta official, so is obama.
this post doesn't make any sense at all
liberals = terrorists, this is all you need to know my oil tycoon daddy told me this
You're an idiot.
im glad this forum has quality posters like you sloppy_joes :allears:
nope, you're just wrong. good old fashioned "i consider anyone who's political ideas are different from mine terrorist supporters" wrong
I don't know where you guys are reading these things into my posts. I was merely commenting on the second quote, which had Mr. bin Laden endorsing Mr. Chomsky's liberal ideologies. For the record, I consider myself liberal as well when I'm not thinking that politics is a massive waste of time. Also: My second post was commenting on myself achieving the Facepunch rite of passage of being insulted by a gold member. Go me!
Wow, this was definitely unexpected.
you can't "track the signal" of a video tape you dummy. What, do you think he was broadcasting live
uh..... :tinfoil:
its not Americas fault for Global Warming. its everyones. just because we happen to produce the most CO2 emmissions doesnt mean we should stop while other countries continue to do it. we SHOULD ALL stop/cut-down. but that wont happen anytime soon. its like my little brother yelling at my mom tonight "I WONT GO TO BED UNLESS BRANDON GOES TO BED TOO"
bla bla bla china is killing everyone. This is carbon per capita
How the fuck is Greenland higher than Brazil or something

Chomsky is like an anarchist.
I knew those damn pinko liberals were wrong, the pollution is helping us! It's making those damn terrorists crap their pants! :911:
Did someone say Noam Chomsky?
Son of a bitch, now we're gonna ignore global warming just because Bin Laden says it's a problem.
