you can easily ummm
not... buy... them? You randomly pick up them anyways too you know.

hats are a waaay better type of dlc than you know... 15$ for 3 maps, or 20$ to unlock all guns. You can still get the hats free anyways

no I think the entire F2P concept is stupid, within days servers were full of "TRADING X AND X" and then came the hackers, since its a free game there is no loss to hacking.

I've played it for a while and have only had fun, only see "TRADING X" in trade servers and don't see any hackers. It's pretty much fine right now.
You don't even play it, I've spent 138 hours and haven't seen ANY of that at all... so it's so clear you have literally no clue at all what you're even saying.
also
"since its a free game there is no loss to hacking."
umm
you need to actually own a steam game before hand, and the loss is vac banning. this isn't an old game with no anti cheat system. Vac works.
shit your probably the person who screams "AIMBOT" every time someone gets a headshot
Complaining about hats is a kind of stupid reason to stop playing TF2, same with your superiority complex in all these threads.
TF2 to me, was the game that started off with a rock paper scissors concept, and as the years and updates went on, spiraled further away from that with added content and shifting class roles with new, vastly different weapons and playstyles.
An example is the demoman having the option to change from a support class, to a meele charger.

Pyro is both defence and offense, and is very solid with both. Same with the soldier.
the weapons add great fun and variation. If you have no imagination and are a boring person, you won't like tf2's creativity.
I never said that the new content and added versatility was a bad thing. I was just stating that it's more of a valid reason to quit, than a hat system and a digital economy that can be paid for in dollars, or grinding metal.
I don't even play TF2 anymore but the trading system still affects me, random brazilians keep adding me to their friends list asking for my backpack.

It is ruined, and I blame you.
Or you could just make it so that people can't see your inventory. It's an option in the profile settings.

Okay, just checked the xbox live store, and the microtransactions are in fact, multiplayer only. I say this because there's mentions of perks and levels, and i highly doubt that the single player game has perks.
As bad as this is, think of it this way:
Who really buys AC3 for the multiplayer.
I am.
AC:B multiplayer was a mind blowing experience for me and I loved every moment of it. I didn't buy Revelations but I plan on buying 3 and jumping into the multiplayer before even considering the single.
CoD should do this and make a killing on impatient people who really want that one gun.
Battlefield already does it. I don't see why not.
Well, if people could just buy their way to ranks, they'd have no reason to buy mountain dew every week.
If it's for multiplayer only, I could honestly give two shits. But still, what the fuck Ubisoft? Why are you surprised you are losing profits?
I have yet see anyone implementing pay to lose concept in video games. Anyways, I expected hats. I thinkg AC3 is trying to follow TF2 with hats
The most obsessive players will earn their weapons/rank quickly enough anyway. Buying your way up the ladder is a very temporary solution.

Assassins creed multiplayer is really fucking good, anyone who says this obviously hasn't played it.
"You just bought this game for 60 dollar, now give us more."
Assassins creed multiplayer is really fucking good, anyone who says this obviously hasn't played it.
The multiplayer is cool, but it has none of the longevity of the single player.
so all this does is let you unlock multiplayer stuff?
what's the big deal exactly?
Pay to win in a single player focused game.
Nice EA you pulled out there, Ubisoft.
Whoops, my bad :suicide:
Honest mistake, if you know what I mean...
Pay2win system in a Ubisoft game?
Not surprising.

I raise you 50 shades of grey.
What would be a funny twist:
The content for purchase would only be cosmetic and people would have been raging their pants off for nothing.
Too bad that probably wont happend.
And the damn PC release is 24 days later.
Assassins creed multiplayer is really fucking good, anyone who says this obviously hasn't played it.
I definitely think it's unique and has potential but it needs some work- for one it doesn't even have dedicated servers for PC and the userbase that plays it is relatively small so it can be a bitch to find games
Hello i'm the internet and i don't care who published what as long as i can name someone i don't like and throw a tantrum about things that i don't like
I take it you're completely okay with buying a game for the full price of $60, and then having it try and squeeze more money out of you, then?
and ubisoft still screams "BUT Y IS PEEPOL PARIATE SUCH A GOOD GAEM!!1"
and ubisoft still screams "BUT Y IS PEEPOL PARIATE SUCH A GOOD GAEM!!1"
I really don't see why this would be a reason to pirate. Its just trivial bullshit.
does AC3 really need microtransactions for multiplayer that will die in a very short timespan
