does AC3 really need microtransactions for multiplayer that will die in a very short timespan
Exactly, better grab as much as you can while the hype is up.
They just came out with a mini announcement about how they believe it will work/clarifying it

I can totally see where this is going in relation to the PC version:
"OMG, I haz l337cr@ckz version of AC3. Why I can't buyz assassing fun buckz!? I'z really want all gold clothes, but crack no come with it..... "
Or in other words, rather than DRM that punishes people that actually buy the game, lame micro transactions that people who pirate the game can't get.
People who have little time can use Erudito Credits as a shortcut to unlock game items from level 1 to 50
It's so clueless it hurts.

Which is totally irrelevant as pirated version won't have multiplayer for obvious reasons. And we're talking about Ubisoft, which latest games are often bought and immediately cracked because fuck Uplay or whatever it is.
Assassins creed multiplayer is really fucking good, anyone who says this obviously hasn't played it.
its ok but the single player triumphs it IMHO
And honestly. This is just shit so people who don't really have time can trade their money for unlocks that you can gain while playing.
It's not a big deal and any form of microtransactions are this huge bad thing on Facepunch.

Maybe that's why they're adding in the microtransactions? Gives people a way to access the weapons/abilities they want instead of staring at a long grind for a multiplayer they'll pick up and play every once in a while.
To be honest, I'm still only level 27 in ACR, and I'm a pretty decent player.
It would be nice to jump to things like poison instantly.
OH WHO WOULD HAVE GUESSED
Not that the game was going to be good anyway, because come on, since when was the last time a game sequel about a sequel was good? This series was turned into a milkcow a long time ago.
