although at least he didn't feel intimidated by the fact he was on television
And once again, Canada will do nothing.
Assange is the best. troll. EVER!
:golfclap:
So you'd rather have a back stabbing normal politician?
[editline]1st December 2010[/editline]
Still is
I'd rather have something who isn't so fucking insane as to call for someone's death on live television.
Is he dumb?
This is seriously getting out of hand
And once again, Canada will do nothing.
ah he might get sacked
who cares anyway it's not like my country has any influence
we're like the US's little brother that wears a pink tutu
That guy's an idiot. Who says shit like that? Did he even know he was on live TV? There are opinions, and there is acting professional when you're a government official reporting to the public. This guy's a total buffoon.
Or get mauled by a bear?
Especially if he got mauled by a bear.
New advisor by the end of the week, I'm calling it now.
Too hopeful, man, too hopeful.

You have to realize that Canadian politicians will always give america a blowjob.

And not because I disagree with the leaks but because of how much of arrogant dickwad Assange is.

I wonder how Assange feels about being the world's most hunted man.
I hope we get a movie version of his story starring Nicolas Cage.

He's not the worlds most hunted man.
Am I the only one that thought the advisor was perhaps having a little joke? He honestly didn't seem very serious when discussing said "assassination" and the whole media bullshit of "Calls for assassination" is just total piss, he was clearly not being serious. Granted it wasn't the smartest political move he could make but cut the guy some slack for not going "OMFG ARREST HIM"
They must have a lot to hide.

It wasn't a joke, the reporter gave him the opportunity to clarify/retract what he said.

Okay, c'mon now, a lot of people feel the same way as this guy..
I realize it's completely stupid to say it on TV, being who he is and all, but still. It's not like he was dead serious when he said it. Poor choice of words to express how he feels but understandable in my opinion.

It isn't understandable to think that someone should die for editing a website, no matter what the content is
God, what a fucking idiot. He's making the rest of Canada look bad.

Shit, I didn't know Facepunch posters were Political leaders. No wonder the world is in such turmoil.

He makes the conservatives look bad, something all intelligent Canadians already know.
vote liberal
vote liberal
NDP has a better shot in my riding so my votes go there. Vote for whoever isn't conservative but still has a shot, otherwise you're just tossing your vote away.
We're usually a pretty safe NDP riding, with Peter Stoffer, but he caused quite a quifluffle with the gun registry thing.
[editline]1st December 2010[/editline]
Everyone's really mad that he gave into party pressure and voted to keep the registry.
to Canadian PM from Julian Assange:
U mad?
