As long as they implement the same functionality/keep the old servers running, I'm fine with this. If google gets too big, the monopoly case that will inevitably come will take care of it
If google gets too big you will be pooping in gToilet and voting for the next Google CEO
Fucking google. Yandex for some reason draws a lot of visitors to my website.

I agree with a few people in here. If Yandex isn't better than Google, then it's just too bad. Google is very good, and popular too (for a 'few' reasons). Personally I don't use Google, I'm a DuckDuckGo user myself, but I have to say that despite Google not being very open, it still usually gets people what they want.

"google chrome makes it harder to use our browser" =/= "google is attempting to destroy a competitor" funny how he never explains what he means by making it harder to use yandex, I can't imagine that chrome actually stops users from accessing it
Clearly the major themes of 1984 passed over your head, or more likely - you've never read it.
look everyone i'm implying that google represents 1984-esque themes and practices but i can't back it up so clearly none of you have read it
But then, what else can you expect of the FP hivemind. It's like 1984 in here sometimes.
in here I was refering to the state of mind of a large part of the FP userbase. In large part the younger demographic I would think, all too eager to adapt popular opinions without critical thinking.
oh yeah well maybe russians should learn to speak english so they don't need results in russian
You know, many Russians are able to speak at least basic English, but it's much easier to search for results in your native language. Nobody's forcing you to search for results in Spanish, so why disrupt millions of others in the same way?

It's futile to compete with Google.
You know, many Russians are able to speak at least basic English
i am aware, seeing as i am one too
