That is insane. I never knew that.

If you weren't so unabashedly pro-Israeli you would've understood the meaning of my post.

You go on the defensive on every post I make despite it's stance, hop off my dick for once.
I like how you maintain that Israel doesn't represent Jews but then call me pro Israeli when I correct you on something that has nothing to do with Israel and only with Jews.
I think Jews who turned Christian, (like way before the persecution, not as a means of avoiding it) were spared. Like they had a name for them, something with black or something. Their children also wouldnt be circumcised, but them, I dont know. I read this in some book.
How would they differ christian converts anyway?
I saw this post yesterday and its still bothering me, so just a quick answer (but please, do yourself a favor and read a little more about the Holocaust if you're curious).
Here's a quick answer from the US Holocaust Memorial Museum FAQ:
HOW DID THE PERPETRATORS KNOW WHO WAS JEWISH?
German officials identified Jews residing in Germany through census records, tax returns, synagogue membership lists, parish records (for converted Jews), routine but mandatory police registration forms, the questioning of relatives, and from information provided by neighbors and officials. In territory occupied by Nazi Germany or its Axis partners, Jews were identified largely through Jewish community membership lists, individual identity papers, captured census documents and police records, and local intelligence networks.
Again, it wasn't about religion. It was about race. If the Nazis had any way of knowing you had Jewish ancestry you were fucked regardless of faith.

I was defending the notion that atheist ethnic Jews exist by mocking the concept that the holocaust could have been avoided if Jews merely converted out of faith. You took it as some affront because you quickly get on the defensive on my posts and do not read. I could make a pro-Israeli post and you would still end up jumping and attacking me for it due to assuming it was anti-Israel.

These are pretty valid criticisms of Israel— maybe even remarks of warranted contemptuousness for the state of egregious human rights violations— but nothing remotely similar to antisemitism.
I didnt suggest it was about religion, but how would they differ if they didnt have such censuses, whistleblowers, or similar stuff?
The book I read was in Poland, Bialystok and the Christian converts werent singular, but groups that formed a minor part of the village. They would be converts for generations, back from Imperial Russia.
The point is they would still be ethnically jewish but they would be "spared" as in not because Nazis wanted so but like, they simply wouldnt be able to be detected.
Oh. That's obviously true and some Jews did manage to survive the war that way, but unfortunately most didn't simply because too many people knew they were Jewish and it was too late to try and disappear in the crowd by the time people finally started figuring out what was going on.
There were actually some former Jews who were let out of the concentration camps in Auschwitz last-minute after renouncing their faith to become atheist.
First, you don't have to defend the notion that atheist ethnic Jews exist. They definitely exist. Second, how is this:
There were actually some former Jews who were let out of the concentration camps in Auschwitz last-minute after renouncing their faith to become atheist.

supposed to be mocking? All I see is a false statement confusing Jews with JWs. What didn't I read that you apparently wrote?
I was being sarcastic.
if you weren't able to see that starpluck was being incredibly sarcastic in that post, then i think you need to step back and think about how hard you're going in the paint
considering that he also cited the source of 'his ass' immediately after posting it
