He apparently has never restarted his computer.
Pfft, why would hackers even bother with XP anymore? Shouldn't they all be going after 7 and Vista?
The only thing F1 was good for was to spam the key when someone wasn't looking and watch them freak as the computer locks up and spams hundreds of help windows.
Who still uses IE? Firefox is where its at.
Glad I don't use Windows anymore.
window 7 is the new xp to me, and i love windows 7 just as i like window xp in the past (except xp don't got that little useful option to "open file location")
Windows 7 is better than XP.
Funnily enough, I'm on my desktop with XP at the moment, (Instead of Laptop with 7), and yes, I pressed F1. Kind of impossible not to, way too tempting.
i presed it nothing happend
Good thing its only IE. I never use it ever
watch MS deliberately devise viruses to make XP unusable so everyone has to go to 7
I would, if it didnt completely wipe my hard drive.
Rate check if you also pressed F1 after reading this thread.
IT came up with Firefox help :smug:
I pressed F1

There is your problem.
Why do people still use an 8 year old OS anyway? Are they just afraid of progress?
Shit I just haven't bothered.
Who uses IE6, 7 or 8 even.
Glad I don't use Windows anymore.
Yeah you remind us in every goddamn thread about MS/Windows as if any gave the slightest fuck.
It's their fault for still using a severely outdated OS.
XP is still the optimal (gaming) OS for those of us with less than 3GB of RAM. Stop your trolling.

Waarmee kunnen we u helpen?
I feel for those that push the help button when they need help after getting the virus.

Chill. We all already know you're the biggest windows fan boy here (but a helpful one, at that.).
Who uses IE6, 7 or 8 even.
50 something percent of all windows users

He's not trolling. It is very old. That's like someone bitching because something went wrong in Mac OS 10.0.
Rusty to XP users: Press F1

I don't see how I'm a fan boy. I bash Microsoft nearly everyday. But at least I do so with reason. I mean when Linux has an issue it goes unheard of and fixed. When Mac has an issue it goes unheard of and fixed. When Windows has an issue Microsoft announces it to everyone and you get this big horde of people rally around say "Fuck you Microsoft" as if they intentionally created this bug just for your inconvenience.

The OS still receives updates. Nobody still uses XP help. XP may be 7 years ancient, but it is still the most efficient OS for gamers that have low-end computers.

PC's gonna blow up now

I don't generally use all those fancy buttons up there. What does F1 even do?
[editline]05:42PM[/editline]
It opened Google Chrome Help :tinfoil:
We do this all the time in IT at school.
I see you're trying to load a virus

Can I help you with that?

F1 is nearly the universal 'open help for this application' button. Or at least on Winders it is.
That the vast majority of computers still run a 9-year-old operating system is a travesty.

A lot of software used in work places and schools is only compatible with Windows XP. That and XP doesn't use up as much computer ram and processing power, so schools and companies don't have to spend a lot on hardware or software.
