• The Mummy and Van Helsing to get reboot treatment

The first Van Hellsing was pretty good.
I think they should get the reboots they deserve. The Mummy was OK, but the sequels were awful. Van Helsing is a bit of a guilty pleasure for me, but I think they could really pull off something cool with the idea.
Since I love the age of major archaeological discoveries (1900's - 1930ish) The Mummy has always been one of my favourite films and I would love a good reboot of it.

Oh, fuck that, they need to focus on the "At the Mountains of Madness" movie.
I love Van Helsing. They better do it well.
I really disliked Van Helsing but I thought the concept was badass
These films don't even fit the usual excuses Hollywood uses for remakes (needing to update for a modern audience or needing to make it for an English speaking audience). Seriously, these films aren't really old, pointless.
Money, money, money!
