It can be applied to almost every political philosophy aside from a select few in direct contradiction like communism, extreme forms of totalitarianism and those sorts of things. Individualism has made guest appearances in the Republican, Democratic, Green, Whig, Federalist, Libertarian and miscellanious parties nobody gives a fuck about.
