I hate this picture. It's utterly terrifying.
I find it to be amazingly awe inspiring, just look at the size of that thing, it could engulf a million solar systems like ours, god damn, imagine what else is out there. Just to think it, it's amazing.
Are you retarted? Do you think we've seen all of the universe? We've probably only seen like 0.001% of what's out there, who knows how big stars can get.
Uhh, the laws of physics say how big stars can get; that's 'who'. It's probably sitting on the very boundary of hydrostatic equilibrium. If it was any more massive gravity would dominate over the outwards gas pressure and the star would collapse in on itself to a neutron star or a black hole.
I hate this picture. It's utterly terrifying.
Goku must of did the biggest spirit bomb of all mankind, but lemme finish, Major Canis was the biggest sun of all time.
We won't, since that thing already is pushing on some laws of physics as is.
I heard that CY Canis Majoris is around 21 hundred times the size of our sun. I've also heard a star could theoretically(we haven't ever seen one, so it's just equations right now) could be 2600 times the sun.
Here's another size comparison: And just think, there's more than likely to be bigger stars in the universe.
i like to think that, if canis majoris was planet earth, the ''tiny'' sized planet earth would be equal to human size on canis
"Nature doesn't like a vacuum so if there is space to put a planet it will put a planet there"
This sounds incredibly funny to me.
