Dear world: Yes. We get it. The WONDERS of what you can do with a ridiculously large population and virtually no limitations on government. I am not impressed by a bunch of underpaid workers with absolutely zero freedom constructing a building in six days out of fucking prefabricated parts. It's a giant fucking testament to WHY China should not be allowed to joint he rest of the fucking world in its current state. This should be viewed as a cry for goddamn help by the Chinese people. Not praised.
Its like your saying that prefabricated parts are a bad thing.
It would if we would put an embargo on them.
All of the west would be so absolutely fucked.
asdasfasfafg Holy hell that's fast.
more work = less whipping.

[editline]12th November 2010[/editline] take North Korea, that is zero freedom. [editline]12th November 2010[/editline] They live in China, their Chinese wages is sufficient, they survive on that, they can get a car, they can get a house. That country has to feed 1.3 billion mouths, do you think it's feasible to give them US wages? Think from different perspectives god damn.
Like that's ever going to happen, the West willingly addicted themselves to the promise of cheap goods from China, and I doubt that'll ever change.
Yeah, heck, the U.S. has had cheap goods dumped on them ever since they won the revolutionary war and Britain did it to mess with their economy. :3

Very dedicated workers!
I wonder if there were inspectors at hand.
That's not a hotel, that's a box, you can see through the windows, there's no interior at all. Look in the front window, see out the back window. News story made me think they made more than that.
Imagine being a week somewhere else. You come back and there's a 15-story hotel in front of your house. But yes, basicly it's like Lego or an IKEA shelf and that must have been some awful days for the people who live next to the construction site because they even worked at night.
Slave labor = building in seconds

The parts are just bolted together. There's no cutting, no hammering and really nothing that makes too much of a noise except the vehicles and the workers themselves.

[editline]12th November 2010[/editline] I don't know about the interior though.

Thats awsome.
with absolutely zero freedom.
What is this freedom you speak of? Yes the chinese government is a lot more controlling than say, the UK government, but there are different definitions of freedom.
How long did it take them to make all those prefab walls and columns?
Imagine going on a six day vacation and coming back to a fifteen story building next to your house.
a communist country more successful than great US of A? how? communism only works in theory i thought...
Construction speedruns?
Slave labor = building in seconds
This is not slave labour
It's made out of Styrofoam and cardboard.
Made in China = breaks within a week of opening
Made in China = breaks within a week of opening
you mean breaks instantly
I imagine that's for the elevator or something because the rest of the building if you watch the timelapse is blank.
because they put mirror walls in the rooms you dolt, you're not seeing through the building, you're seeing the reflection of the sky in front of the building nah just kiddin i pulled that out of my ass
Not one injury during construction. Holy shit
15 Story Hotel collapses with 200 killed. North Korea to blame.
People are impressed by numbers quite easily.
you mean breaks instantly
Well that's within the one week period.
