Chinese workers build 15-story hotel in just six days

I saw this documentary on National Geographic about Crystal Meth. They had a Chinese construction worker on who said that he and many of his coworkers consumed meth regularly to stay competitive in the workplace. Now we know how they managed to build that hotel so quickly.
:aaaaa:
It would if we would put an embargo on them.
"China is in a horrible state right now"
"Let's embargo them!"
Yeah that'll help them modernize
Do you know anything
I definitely hope that I get to see updates on this.
The end of the video said "prototype 3", so they're still working on their construction techniques?
Anyway, this could bring large steps forward for helping other countries develop, and perhaps even colonization of other planets hmm?

I want underground cities :C
They can't even destroy buildings right. I wouldn't trust them to build one...

I can see it turning out like this:

Yes, it was a 13 story building in Shanghai that tipped over.

Heh, people in the other two buildings are very nervous.
a communist country more successful than great US of A? how? communism only works in theory i thought...
China is barely communist these days

I mean yeah they're ruled by the communist party but they've really embraced capitalism in the last decade or so.
Imagine living right next to that lot, going on vacation for a week, then coming back to see that.
:china:
Hmmm... But how long did it take to make the prefabricated bits?
the benefits of not giving your people any rights.
In the Uk it would take over 2 years to build something like that.
And on the 7th day, they didn't rest.
It would if we would put an embargo on them.
Yeah. Right.
Didn't they also build a large hotel within a month, and that one collapsed on the second day of opening?
China isnt some place with no rights or freedoms you know, you don't have freedom of protest or demonstration, but when your country is stable, growing and developing, things are getting better and better. The Chinese government doesn't just go around putting everyone in prison. China has opened up a great deal very recently.
Jesus Christ, that was mental.
Video mis-spelt Stories

Something confuses me there, they say it was made within a week yet you see the concrete base, and for a 15 story building that has to be at-least a 30 foot deep base, or so and it has to hit the bedrock. . And for the concrete to properly dry and set it'd take at-least a week or so. So not really made in a week but the construction of the inhabited part of the building took only 6 days even though it was all pre-fab materials.
True Story: In Taiwan when a earthquake happened a few years back a tall building fell, what was found in the support beams was trash like cups and cans etc. to cheapen the cost of actually filling it with some other substance or reinforcing it with steel re-bar.
So I question the safety of the building.

How does using trash instead of actual constructive building materials relate to a prefabricated steel frame building? There is nothing to fill with anything except the foundation and floors which weren't out of compressed trash as you could clearly see.

He is talking about the foundation, which we could not see.
Goes as fast as a skyscraper in Sim City 4 is built.
Wow.

It probably did take a week to set up, but the actual construction took six days.
I don't see how putting together a prefab in a week is impressive.

It's like playing with lego blocks. just really fucking big ones.
China will grow larger.
Meh
Prefab
Pretty cool how there were no work injuries though
