It's amazing both how fast and how slow the earth operates. Landmasses appearing overnight is extremely cool though. That and you basically see how everything was made in action

Must've been plenty of volcanic activity in the area for a new island to form. After all, that's how most new islands form, they spawn when the world's blood breaks loose from the world's flesh (lava breaks out of the rock) and comes into contact with water.
