The comments are the best i don't even get it [editline]31st August 2011[/editline] glaber what is a "pablum"?
*Looks it up on Yahoo*
Pab·lum    /ˈpæbləm/ [pab-luhm] 1. Trademark . a brand of soft, bland cereal for infants. noun 2. ( lowercase ) trite, naive, or simplistic ideas or writings; intellectual pap.
*Looks it up on Yahoo* http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/pablum
Well, that's slightly ironic.
Really Obama? You want to be seen as the kind of kid who schedules his party at the same time of the less popular kid?
I find it hilarious that you of all people have the audacity to compare someone else with a child.
Because the more popular kid is immature and a jerk for scheduling his party at the same time as the less popular kid. Plus the less popular kid announced his party first making the popular kid's party scheduled out of spite.
Glaber, I'm beginning to think this is something that happened to you...
Glaber, I'm beginning to think this is something that happened to you...
nope, just seen it happen on TV.
glaber shouldn't you be masturbating to ponies and writing sonic fan fiction while your extreme conservative parents cry at what you've become (User was banned for this post ("Flaming" - Autumn))
glaber shouldn't you be masturbating to ponies and writing sonic fan fiction while your extreme conservative parents cry at what you've become
Low insult, buddy.
~Cut out~
glaber shouldn't you be masturbating to ponies and writing sonic fan fiction while your extreme conservative parents cry at what you've become
I couldn't agree more. [editline]31st August 2011[/editline]
Low insult, buddy.
He had it coming.
He had it coming.
A personal insult against the OP, unrelated to the article is - in my book - low. He's only expressing his opinion, radically different from ours or not.
Obama should just act like a badass and quote this during his economic address. Start it off by saying something like "A former Republican President stated these words"
"Should any political party attempt to abolish social security, unemployment insurance, and eliminate labor laws and farm programs, you would not hear of that party again in our political history. There is a tiny splinter group, of course, that believes that you can do these things. Among them are a few Texas oil millionaires, and an occasional politician or businessman from other areas. Their number is negligible and they are stupid." President Dwight D. Eisenhower
Troll the shit out of the crazies.
A repbulican former president is how he should phrase it though. former republican president makes it sound like eisenhower suddenly became a democrat
Yeah. Didn't really notice how I phrased it. I just would love the fucking outrage something like that would cause.
I.. just. The US is facing one of its biggest political and economic challenges since the Great Depression, and people are concerned with the dates?
A personal insult against the OP, unrelated to the article is - in my book - low. He's only expressing his opinion, radically different from ours or not.
There is a difference between an opinion and just plain out trying to take a jab at the president of a nation.
There is a difference between an opinion and just plain out trying to take a jab at the president of a nation.
And how many jabs were delivered against the last president do you think? Too many to count. No one was complaining then.
Really Obama? You want to be seen as the kind of kid who schedules his party at the same time of the less popular kid?
In this case, it's like scheduling your party at the same time the special olympics is being broadcast. Except unlike the Republicans, the kids on TV will actually accomplish something.
I love seeing democrats swarm in to defend the silliest things, in the most malicious way. A simple 'it's a coincidence' would suffice.
Honestly does it really matter? Pretty much anyone who hates Obama (you) will tune into the GOP debate and anyone who isn't right-wing will tune into Obama's address. It's like all these people itching to watch the GOP debate will have to watch Obama's address now as if they actually give a fuck about what he says...
I'm not a Republican and I think Obama was a pretty bad president. Not as bad as our previous one but the worst in a while. Unfortunately the other side doesn't have anyone great either so I think America may be doomed to stay on the downslope for another four years either way.
I'll watch the debate. I'm eager to see how Perry will do, considering his huge soaring poll numbers among republicans.
i love any thread with even the tiniest modicum of substance to it and boy howdy do you sure deliver those glaber
If I were glaber, i'd create a new completely different account and use that. Because all that happens with threads he creates where his name is recognized, is people flaming him.
I think the GOP has more important things to worry about than scheduling times, like how they intend to appeal to any independent voters with the Far-Right mouth diarrhea they've got coming out of people like Bachmann and Perry. [editline]31st August 2011[/editline]
;32047059']If I were glaber, i'd create a new completely different account and use that. Because all that happens with threads he creates where his name is recognized, if people flaming him.
Even if someone else had made a thread like this, it wouldn't make it any less stupid.
I love seeing democrats swarm in to defend the silliest things, in the most malicious way. A simple 'it's a coincidence' would suffice.
Just as much as I love seeing republicans swarm in to defend the legitimately retarded and backwards shit that comes out of much of the GoP's mouth?
Just as much as I love seeing republicans swarm in to defend the legitimately retarded and backwards shit that comes out of much of the GoP's mouth?
it's not quite as good as the blind hypocracy of some of the members in this thread, however
glaber shouldn't you be masturbating to ponies and writing sonic fan fiction while your extreme conservative parents cry at what you've become
Shouldn't you be actualy arguing constructively, rather than insulting anyone you disagree with?
it's not quite as good as the blind hypocracy of some of the members in this thread, however
I'm not going to defend some of the overly malicious remarks made in this thread but this is really a big fuss about nothing.
;32047059']If I were glaber, i'd create a new completely different account and use that. Because all that happens with threads he creates where his name is recognized, is people flaming him.
but the threads would be equally bad and people would begin to dislike the new account just as much [editline]31st August 2011[/editline] tbqh i only read the OP and if you jerks are actually starting to get hateful in here then cut it out my god why do you people have to take everything to it's extremes + screw everything up

I don't get it
