He's not as bad as the last president, but he's the worst? I don't get it
The worst? Certainly not.
Glaber you are exactly what's wrong with your countries political system.
We all know Richard Schiff or Rob Lowe just hand the President the speech before he reads it.
If they're so pissed why not just change the date of the debate?
If they're so pissed why not just change the date of the debate?

...but the event has been on the schedule for months.
http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2011/08/31/obama-steps-on-gop-debate-with-jobs-speech Essentially, it was scheduled far enough in advance so that there shouldn't have been a conflict of scheduling in the first place.
Looks like they are moving it: http://hosted.ap.org/dynamic/stories/U/US_OBAMA_JOBS?SITE=WABEL&SECTION=HOME&TEMPLATE=DEFAULT
Because the more popular kid is immature and a jerk for scheduling his party at the same time as the less popular kid. Plus the less popular kid announced his party first making the popular kid's party scheduled out of spite.
i'm assuming that you were the less popular kid back in the day
I don't really see the big deal. If the GOP were smart, they could actually use this to their advantage by moving their debate to a later date and let Obama give his Economic Address first. That way, the GOP could listen to his address and find some info they could use against Obama during the debate.
Obama already agreed to give his speech a day later. There is no issue anymore, not that there really was an issue to begin with.
Obama already agreed to give his speech a day later. There is no issue anymore, not that there really was an issue to begin with.
Now they'll bitch about him backing down and allowing the GOP to step all over him and get their way. Again.
Fair and balanced
but the threads would be equally bad and people would begin to dislike the new account just as much [editline]31st August 2011[/editline] tbqh i only read the OP and if you jerks are actually starting to get hateful in here then cut it out my god why do you people have to take everything to it's extremes + screw everything up
I'd post an "Internet fight" macro but I'll get banned because even though its related to the comment is a macro. Anyway, its Facepunch, what the fuck else is new? If you don't agree with me you're a dick bag, if you continue you're a retard who should die to better society. That's pretty much the view of the most out spoken and overly offensive members on this site.
Either way politics in the US are backwards and the Democrats are already considered conservative by 50s and 60s standards, so either way who gives a fuck.
Either way politics in the US are backwards and the Democrats are already considered conservative by 50s and 60s standards, so either way who gives a fuck.
Obama certainly has catered to the GOP recently, but I wouldn't go down on the whole Democratic Party.
Obama needs to realize that 40% of Americans wouldn't vote for him even if he personally saved them all from a life-threatening situation.
I don't Understand why people struggle to see that Obama is a good president.......and the fact that 3/4 of the GOP are actually retarded and them getting into power would only put the country in a worse state.
Title edited.
Nice, Obama went out of his way to postpone it. What does Fox say about this? [editline]1st September 2011[/editline] What a flattering picture, Fox.
I don't Understand why people struggle to see that Obama is a good president.......and the fact that 3/4 of the GOP are actually retarded and them getting into power would only put the country in a worse state.
The Fox News propaganda machine is my bet.
The Fox News propaganda machine is my bet.
I think it has something to do with the mortgage crisis that came just about when he was elected. Horrible timing to be a president. Henceforth.
It's not like there will be a Republican president in our lifetime. No part of humanity can be -that- stupid as to vote for a republican after all they've done.
god damnit its not a compromise when you get nothing and they get everything
That's one bad quality about Obama and many Democrats which is that they're huge pushovers. [editline]1st September 2011[/editline]
It's not like there will be a Republican president in our lifetime. No part of humanity can be -that- stupid as to vote for a republican after all they've done.
Based on approval ratings, you could say the same thing about the Democrats Both parties mostly consist of crooks and it's only every once in a blue moon you actually get a good candidate for either one.
It's not like there will be a Republican president in our lifetime. No part of humanity can be -that- stupid as to vote for a republican after all they've done.
The republicans always need to come in and clean up the mess after a democrat.
The republicans always need to come in and clean up the mess after a democrat.
Sure if you use the word "mess" to describe human rights.
Sure if you use the word "mess" to describe human rights.
or mess means "not as much suffering as their could be"
And just when I was having a mediocre day, Glaber shows his retard face again. Thanks for cheering me up!
Both parties mostly consist of crooks
Eh no. There's a reason why the Republicans have gotten international criticism, from the United Kingdom, France, Russia, China, and others: their childish, irresponsible, outlandish, and frankly insane behavior that runs wild with them to the point where it's damaging not only our country but the entire world. The budget crisis and their approach to the question of defaulting or not stands as a monument to this, and that happened just last month- completely ignoring some of the stuff that's happened with them in the past 5-10 years. The "both parties" shtick is just getting old. It's just another way of trying to misdirect who's really worthy of blame.
It's not like there will be a Republican president in our lifetime. No part of humanity can be -that- stupid as to vote for a republican after all they've done.
There have been more republican presidents than democrat presidents.
The republicans always need to come in and clean up the mess after a democrat.
really? people think this after people like bush?
There have been more republican presidents than democrat presidents.
And there was a time when Republicans supported Progressive (given the time period) civil rights. Your point is moot. [editline]1st September 2011[/editline]
The republicans always need to come in and clean up the mess after a democrat.
Yeah, I guess Bush came in and really cleaned up Clinton's mess...oh wait.
