Current model runs show it going out to sea near new york.

A few of those paths are showing a weird loop in there, so it might hang out off the coast for awhile.
I feel like we haven't even gotten significant detritus from hurricanes that hit down south since before sandy even.
Could be interesting though if it does hang around for a while, part of the city my school is in is fairly low lying so the other half of the town floods easily. Hope that doesn't happen.
Jax, Ponte Vedra here. Ready for shit level rainstorms and turbowind, but I'm going to be busy at work this weekend. I've got water, canned food, batteries etc. i think I'm pretty set.
Tampa here. Just raining right now, but classes got cancelled so hey.

Pasco reporting in, shits flooded and they are evacuating homes around me. Apparently a news van is down the road but its impossible to drive. At least i live in an elevated home :v:
Floridian here. The rain is really, -really- fucking heavy. Lawns are turning into bogs, and alleys are turning into canals. Streets are turning into wells. Power is going out or flickering, as is expected.
Not exactly flooding, but it's pretty absurd how things look after the rain stops. It's windy, but we aren't getting nuclear holocaust destroy everything winds. Yet. Hopefully it won't happen.

Tampa as well. USF is closed, the local park is flooded, and my driveway has become a temporary waterslide. I know what im going to do with my day
power went off twice
my cool college class got canceled
rip
Water receded here an hour ago but still no water or power
Tampa here, and whoo boy, the wind is crazy.
Here in Waynesborro GA (8:45AM), we are starting to get the edge of it. Heavy rain, wind kicking up (about 14mph sustained right now), and they JUST NOW sent out the email to shut down the site today. So now I gotta pack up and drive back to my apartment in Augusta in this shit.
Bradenton. Sky looks like shit. Heavy rain and wind last night but kind of ok now. Still at work despite conditions.

This model shows it intensifying into a Category one for a brief moment just off the coast of the North East. Don't see that often.
It's pretty overcast here, bit of intermittent strong winds now and then and the odd spitting of rain- but they're saying the outer bands will curve back around to hit us this evening along with the eastern side of the storm's core.
Savannah GA, Strong winds my friends house lost power mine still has power.
Valdosta, GA. Just got power back on, eye hit us around 5am 9/2. Lots of downed trees and some flooding, but otherwise not too much damage. We were out of power for about 13 hours though.
It's been a while since a hurricane touched Florida. Still missed me here in South Florida though.

I will say this is one reason I'm glad SCAD starts so weirdly late: I missed all of this.
To those of you who didn't, I hope you're safe!
It looked like it was going to nail Charleston, but we got away pretty much untouched. Strange.
I was concerned when I heard about some flooding near where I live, so I left work early, was afraid I'd be cut off.
Turned out to be fine, for the most part. Lost power for a bit, napped through the bulk of the storm.

I'm also Pasco, small world.
I was in panama city beach when it came in wasn't bad at all.
Got some wind and rain here today on long island, didn't expect anything else like i said earlier.
It literally passed over and did nothing where I live. Well that was a lot of nothing.
