I worked in a restaurant kitchen for half-a-year as a dishwasher, and occasionally noticed some drama between the wait staff and cooks, but holy hell - this is just unbelievable.

Finally caved and watched the episode this morning. Jesus Christ al-fucking-mighty, these people shouldn't be allowed to breed.
In my personal opinion, however, I get the feeling that Amy is making Samy act as much of a douchebag as she is, and he could've been too afraid to admit it. He typically lied to his wife and coworkers, saying "everything is fine" when everything clearly wasn't and they weren't fully aware of it.

I mean, all right, he can get very psycho at times and he doesn't like anyone else touching his precious money but he's stuck there in a terrible business unable to do anything without upsetting the inept human being he made the mistake of calling a wife. He can't tell her anything without her exploding and he seemed to want to improve the restaurant, like in the last few parts of the episode.
