As someone who works in a restaurant and has had bosses EXACTLY like these (Mafia roots and everything, I'm serious), it's very refreshing to see someone like Gordon take such a calm and honest approach to the entire situation. I work in a much nicer place, but there should be more people like Gordon to try and help restaurants. It's not just the owners that are affected by bad business, it's us staff. And in an economy like this where you try to hold a job for as long as possible, it's so very appreciated that he at least tried to help them out.
