God you guys have some problems, you all pissed off because somebody didnt spent alot of their own money on something.
She isn't obligated to donate anything at all.
Filthy slut.
I know, right? :quagmire:
Good argument.
How many of us can afford to donate?
Most of you guys. Its not like you have absolutely zero money.
You guys all have homes and computers and internet connections, I am willing to bet that most people on this thread has some 5 bucks laying around.

I don't think you understand that she's using the death and destruction of people and their homes to sell clothing she doesn't use anymore(SINCE SHE HAS A HUNDRED PAIRS OF THEM) and earn money.

Its one thing to donate, its another to making money from people's charity.
Why even "Donate", there are plenty of charities helping out the crisis in the Philippines.
Obviously more people are going to buy from the auction because its Kim, if people wanted to really donate they would go to the charities.
If you want to give to the crisis, don't do it by spending money on dresses sold by kim kardashian.
Here is a link to DEC (The Disasters Emergency Commitee), if you really want to donate.
Donate to the Charities that dedicate their time and effort into helping people who suffer from disasters like this.
I think the "This will help people in the Philippines"-margin is bigger than what she's get if she just sold it and kept 100%. She's going to make money of off this, and it's fucking disgusting.
I know right, this one time I saw this dude give a begger on the streets 2 dollars, then he walks into some high class clothing store.
I nearly vomited, how dare he do something nice with his own money. It would have been better if he just didnt gave money to the poor at all.
It's fucking disgusting
isn't she already loaded?
why is she famous anyways?
She got fucked on video without calling herself a porn actress so tabloids went fucking apeshit

"SOMEONE HAVING SEX"
PREPOSTEROUS!
There are people who would jump on her used tampon for 1000 bucks if given the chance I bet. Just because it was hers, she's famous for stupid reasons.

That's one of the most stupid strawman arguments I have ever seen, well done on that. The implication on the original post is that an item that she paid, I don't know, $100 for could sell for $150, making her a profit even after the charitable donation
It's quite difficult on how to deal with this. The fact she chose such a small percentage seems like a greedy thing but it's still going to be quite a lot of money.
I reckon most people would have picked a higher percentage to give away but there's also quite a lot of people who don't give anything at all.
Every penny I guess... still, she should at least go halfway. Since it's not like she is terribly strapped for cash.
It's her money to donate, at least she's donating something. How much did you donate?
Well, I donated 100% of the money I raised when I marketed it as a charitable act. And I'm poor as all hell. Also Tu quoque bro.
So she took advantage of the situation and gained more economically than she would of had, while also donating a certain percent of her revenue? Damn she is a filthy slut.
Who cares if she got more money. At the end of the day she gets more money and she donates 10% while you guys sit here and complain.
Just realize this facepunchers, that 10% is an attempt to help people. While you may complain about the amount, at least now people are getting aid unlike before. You god damn complainers.

Good job ignoring the first page, demoguy already tried to use that fallacy.

This is about a person marketting their overpriced sale as "for charity" despite very little of the proceeds going to charity.
Quite frankly, it should be illegal to label something as "for charity" if less than 51% goes to charity. This should be false advertising at best, fraud at worst.
dumb whore.
Anything less than 51% should be required to mark the percentage before they can even use the word "charity". For instance, her sale would be marked as "10% of the proceeds go to aid for the Philippines" instead of "Charity sale for the Philippines!".
[editline]24th November 2013[/editline]
Iirc there is actually no legal restrictions on what constitutes a charity sale, and there are several organizations out there that mark themselves as charities and pocket 100% of the donations. This is a problem that runs much deeper than this bitch.
She is a filthy slut because she donated some money?
I think I can speak for some of the people who rated agree that they believe she is a slut since she is using the reputation of HAVING helped some of the people in the Philippians, but in reality her contribution is very little. Saying you help, and keeping a huge portion of the money for yourself that you're donating is a shit move.
