I'm not understanding why you are so bothered by this. Why is everyone so sensitive about it? Grow the fuck up, men have penises and women have vaginas.
Matter of principle. Stripping away (literally in this case) the right to privacy piece by piece is a straight highway to a big brother-society.
Just give this quote a little thought and you see what the fuck is wrong with this.
You mad bro?
This thread should be locked before more people come in believing it is real.
I'm not understanding why you are so bothered by this. Why is everyone so sensitive about it? Grow the fuck up, men have penises and women have vaginas.
The reason it bothers people is the same reason you don't walk around naked. At least, I assume so.
Just give this quote a little thought and you see what the fuck is wrong with this.
Except this quote, while intelligent in context, is absolutely retarded. You give up liberty for just about everything in the name of security. That's why you drive near the speed limit, yield the right of way, have a police force, etc. When buying a plane ticket, you yield almost all of your personal liberties for the sake of an expedient journey. There is no universal line drawn where one can say "Alright! We're at the perfect balance of liberty and security now!" which is why it's constantly debated. Your quote means dick.
Requesting higher-res image of op.
"What do you want to do, get blown up by a goddamn Arab at 30,000 feet or we get to see your private parts? It's up to you, the ball's in your park," head of the TSA's scanning department, Rodney Schroeder, told CNN.
I... is this guy for real? *facepalm* Oh and, related (needless to say, NSFW)...
where the fuck did you find this article from and thought it was real?
They is just adding more fuel to the campaign against scanners.

There is a line that can be drawn, and it's called the constitution/charter/bill of rights of your country. There's a huge difference and your analogy is stupid.
And then he jizzed in his pants.
And then he jizzed in his pants.
Well hopefully he'll be jizzing all the way to the unemployment line for quite some time.

I feel bad for that guy. Sitting there, all day, staring at naked people in a Denver airport. 90% of the people he has to star at naked all day are either men, or fat/ugly/fugly women. I feel like this scanning method is really ineffective because if that were me, I'd either be trying to check out the person in the scanner or trying not to look/vomit. Either way, I feel like the nudity is not only an invasion of privacy, it's definitely a distraction for those who are supposed to be looking for weapons.
Looks like they're trying to boil the frog too fast.

Also I was really going after the quote and how it's over used, not defending the TSA's scanner nor the legality behind it, with what I was saying Why is this thread still open?
There is a bit of a difference between stopping at a red light/yielding and having a stranger fondle your genitals. Although I will admit you have a point or two.
There's also a bit of difference between a security check and fondling.

I'm sorry, but thank you for correcting me, constitutional scholar Regulas021.
Also I was really going after the quote and how it's over used, not defending the TSA's scanner nor the legality behind it, with what I was saying
The quote is overused because people are giving up their liberty for security and it's terrible.
Why is this thread still open?
Because threads don't automatically lock just because you disagree with the opinions expressed in them.
This site isn't even funny. http://www.dailysquib.co.uk/?c=122&a=2447
Because threads don't automatically lock just because you disagree with the opinions expressed in them.
Well, they do get locked when their sources are as reputable as The Onion [editline]25th November 2010[/editline] AND the articles are > 2 months old
