holy shit conservative tears are delicious
holy shit conservative tears are delicious
The deep south has now turned into the worlds largest salt mine. :v:
White house right now:
I hate to break it to you but that is a few thousand miles from the White House.
as much as I don't like the "hey let's make fun of people who disagree with us" thing ...gotta admit I'm looking forward to this
I feel bad for laughing at this comment:
Job security for divorce lawyers!

holy shit conservative tears are delicious
Most people drink water filtered by springs. But for everyone else? they choose the better alternative. They choose NeoConservative Tears™ [t]https://leftonlanier.files.wordpress.com/2008/12/neocontearspt5.jpg[/t]
I feel bad for laughing at this comment:
Oh, I've heard people make this as a serious argument (for state marriage).
[thumb]http://i.imgur.com/eKGfkM9.jpg[/thumb]
So that's what it looks like from the side.
I'm ready for all the quicky marriages and divorces in the following months.
White house right now:
That doesn't look anything like the white house.
Finally, I don't understand how this was an issue.
Due process of law and equal protection under the law are cornerstones of our country, so I agree with you that the people so dead set against this were detached from reality. The problem is that for so long, a lot of people in power shared those views. That's why it's taken so long to get to this point. Look at the end of slavery, back in the 1800s. Yet it wasn't till the end of the 1900s that we got rid of things like segregation and laws against interracial marriage. People do not let go of their prejudice willingly or quickly. My hope is that when conservatives see that gay marriage has no impact on straight marriage then they'll admit, if even only to themselves, that it was much ado about nothing.

If Scalia didn't have hypertension before this week, he will now after all this salt
Can't wait until Lium reads this thread.

I think the best part of this decision is the mandatory gay marriage for everyone who was previously opposed to it. Dibs on Alito I want some of that sweet supreme court justice money
Well guys this was a big win, but let's not lose sight of the real goal. It's time: EXECUTE ORDER 69. DESTROY ALL STRAIGHT MARRIAGE.
yes, m'lord
The president can't just wave his hand and make it happen lol
Where did I suggest he could? He didn't support gay marriage until it was politicaly safe for him to do so. He purposly avoided the issue for as long as he could
This comment and reply on the foxnews article made me laugh.
I was wondering why the horizon was so bright today. America got a ton more colorful!
This is a beautiful thing to wake up to today
I was wondering why the horizon was so bright today. America got a ton more colorful!
You mean more fabulous!
Fresh off my Newsfeed " If it is bigotry to honor God then I am a bigot! God does not hate gay people, he hates the SIN that perverse his children away from him!" "It really is too bad that I, along with other Christians, are looked at as hateful for maintaining a Biblical worldview. I don't hate homosexuals in any way; in fact I love them but I cannot support something that God detests. Love the sinner, hate the sin." I think I know who I should unfollow.
Ben and jerry's is celebrating it by turning their chocolate chip cookie dough flavor into "I dough, i Dough" http://www.benjerry.com/values/issues-we-care-about/marriage-equality/i-dough-i-dough
Ben and Jerry can get married now too
you can buy a pint of ben and jerrys here for 5$ which includes the gay marriage stuff on the pint as a sleeve, 100% of proceeds go to Human Rights Campaign. http://shop.hrc.org/ben-jerry-s-i-dough-i-dough.html
What's next, people allowed to marry their pets? I'm kidding of course. Amazing news and I'm actually shocked it happened so soon. But I'm very happy and this is great. Welcome to the club.
I like how there's a bunch of tweets from Americans saying they are going to move to Canada because of this change. Jokes on them. It's been legal in Canada for years.
Where did I suggest he could? He didn't support gay marriage until it was politicaly safe for him to do so. He purposly avoided the issue for as long as he could
in 2008 it wasn't socially unacceptable for republicans to discuss amendments banning same-sex marriage, he wasn't going to destroy his chance of running on what was still a very fringe subject. the advancement though in his presidency has been huge
