Thank you antiquated and broken legal system for finally arbitrarily making common sense the law of the land, once public opinion swung that way. Nevertheless, thankfully this is over! Got marriage equality, just need to work on that social acceptance.
"Gay marriage." ...Or as I prefer to call it; Marriage.
did he just compare gay marriage to imperialism
He should try that next time when a cop pulls him over and asks if he had anything to drink.
I WILL NOT ACQUIESCE TO AN IMPERIAL POLICE OFFICER ANY MORE THAN OUR FOUNDERS ACQUIESCED TO AN IMPERIAL BRITISH MONARCH. WE MUST RESIST AND REJECT JUDICIAL TYRANNY, NOT RETREAT.
Houston's mayor is happy.
I will never understand why so many people are so fucking worried about what other people do to be happy. My day just got a lot better hearing about this, its about time.
Finally, 50 states of gay!
Huckabee is getting destroyed on Twitter lol

holy SHIt this is a seriously momentous occasion i didn't think we'd get this far in the ruling until another 10 years or something
I know I am being a party pooper and marriage is very important but children are being kicked out of their homes by their homophobic parents and people I know are still in the closet because they KNOW their bosses would fire them if they knew. Are we going to pretend everything is ok now? or are we going to actually take this as a call to further action?
the gay industrial complex will demolish america
this dude is seriously so far out there. if you can compare allowing same-sex marriage to a terrorist attack, it's time for you to take a break and rethink your ideas.
This is amazing. Absolutely amazing.

Without irony, today, I can say this: I am proud of my country. There's still so much to do, but thank God this ugly chapter of our history, this great hypocrisy of our core American values, has finally been corrected.
Marriage has been redefined by the liberal Supreme Court, and now a man can marry his dog, a father can marry his daughter, because every vile sexual sin that God cursed, is a blessing in the land of the Anti-Christ called America.
I just can't imagine these comments being from real people :v:
Oh god Mike Huckabee's twitter. I don't know how to link specific tweets and have them shown as images (I'm shit at cropping) but this is great. The presidential debates are going to be extra amazing this year thanks to this decision!
I'm gonna guess Scalia mentioned his Catholic background.... YEP. LOOK AT ME. I'M JUSTICE SCALIA. I BREAK.A CORE TENANT OF THE CONSTITUTION WHILST SAYING I A. STRICT CONSTRUCTION. OH HEY! LEMME FUCKING BULLY OTHER JUSTICES AND SCREAM AT THEM.
I honestly don't see any Republican candidate winning the Presidential election unless one of them steps out in support of this ruling. Cuz most of the US population is in support of it.
