Gonna be hilarious when the global warming-induced floods begin and Republicans blame it on the gays.
I've been thinking, and it's a little sad that we had to have the supreme court step in to do this. The states should have supported this on their own.
What I'm saying is, it's always a difficult situation when federate laws like this happen, and I'm a little upset that people who are against still exist in these places and harm state progress.
This just comes from my views on individual states' rights
He called this ruling "a threat to democracy," lmfao
You wanna know how bad Justice Scalia is at his job? 200 years, we never knew nor heard about how the Justices argued, debated and made their decisions. Until Justice Scalia started screaming and bullying the older members of the Court. That made the interns, INCLUDING HIS OWN, so angry that they leaked everything out.
He's trash, end of.
Justice Kennedy on the Majority Opinion
"No union is more profound than marriage, for it embod- ies the highest ideals of love, fidelity, devotion, sacrifice, and family. In forming a marital union, two people be- come something greater than once they were. As some of the petitioners in these cases demonstrate, marriage embodies a love that may endure even past death. It would misunderstand these men and women to say they disrespect the idea of marriage. Their plea is that they do respect it, respect it so deeply that they seek to find its fulfillment for themselves. Their hope is not to be condemned to live in loneliness, excluded from one of civilization’s oldest institutions. They ask for equal dignity in the eyes of the law. The Constitution grants them that right."
Holy shit apparently there's a rainbow over the wh right now. I thought that was a metaphor, but there actually is a rainbow physically.
Well guys this was a big win, but let's not lose sight of the real goal. It's time:
EXECUTE ORDER 69. DESTROY ALL STRAIGHT MARRIAGE.
AFFIRMATIVE. RETRIEVING THE BUTTPLUGS.

The Lord will do everything in His time, do not question His dictates for doubting the Lord your God is blasphemy
Some states are already talking about stopping all marriage licenses LOL.
This is soososoo great. This means I could finally get married to my girlfriend in the future anywhere we wanted. I remember when we would look up which states had gay marriage and now we don't have to plan somewhere that isn't out of our home states!
PEople believed it wouldn't happen and believe it'll destroy america
Gay marriage was going to happen, no matter what
It's so unbelievably satisfying to be able to turn around to the people speaking on God's behalf and spewing their religious symbolic fanaticism and give them a mouthful of their own medicine.

That is one beautiful rainbow!
Dude even God himself is like "Fuck yeah guys"
God is gay himself. He dislikes women, uses a rainbow as the sign of an agreement, and asks you to partake in his body.
does this mean i can't express my freedom of religion
my religion tells me gay is evil so i look at everything in life as either straight or gay, even objects.
i dont know what to believe anymore
The best Facebook post I seen all day was: "It's been a bad week for the confederate flag flying homophobe that wanted to play Arkham Knight on PC"

How did a rainbow flag come to symbolize homosexuality anyway?
Hope Finland follows so my sister can marry her girlfriend.

The guy who made it, Gilbert Baker, did it for the gay freedom day parade in '78. There are a number of theories, including one which says he was inspired by Judy Garland's Over the Rainbow, and also inspired in part by the hippie culture of the time

Hillary Clinton is just jumping on the bandwagon, she was anti gay in the 2000s

The design may have been influenced by flags with multicolored stripes used by various left-wing causes and organizations in the San Francisco area in the 1960s. The Rainbow Flag originally had eight stripes (from top to bottom):
hot pink for sex,
red for life,
orange for healing,
yellow for sun,
green for serenity with nature,
turquoise for art,
indigo for harmony, and
violet for spirit.
Use of the rainbow flag by the gay community began in 1978 when it first appeared in the San Francisco Gay and Lesbian Freedom Day Parade. Borrowing symbolism from the hippie movement and black civil rights groups, San Francisco artist Gilbert Baker designed the rainbow flag in response to a need for a symbol that could be used year after year. Baker and thirty volunteers hand-stitched and hand-dyed two huge prototype flags for the parade. The flags had eight stripes, each color representing a component of the community.
I'd be lying if I said this didn't bring a tear to my eye.
It really does. Good job America, and enjoy your equality, you earned it.
Now to await the inevitable doom saying that'll go on for a decade at least.

They've been saying it since like...the foundation of the United States. Everytime its a suicide cult.
Shit solves itself.

You need a rainbow confederacy flag instead. You can't just leave the South behind.
