'Euthanize' autistic teen for being 'nuisance,' says anonymous letter

*chuckle* Well, well, well.
"If someone is sick enough to not only have those thoughts, but to write those thoughts out and then to mail them" he said, then "they should be considered dangerous. We are all concerned."
Despite the "one bad apple" as Begley described the letter's author, his spirit has been buoyed by others who have rallied around Max. "The neighbors have been wonderful" he said.
Max is going into the eighth grade this year and his dad said he is not aware exactly of what has happened, "but he sure is getting a kick out of all of the attention."
Looks like this whore's alone. So much for being the "only one with guts."
First thing I would do is try and get fingerprints off this.
I'm sorry but that isn't a very good "opinion" and that isn't his point at all.
If you go out of your way to badly write a letter that tells a woman to euthanize her son then you have issues.
Lambda over there defended a dude masturbating in a kitchen so I don't take him seriously anymore.
His "point" is that Lamba doesn't have a valid point/opinion, when in fact, they do.
Just because an opinion is seen as morally wrong or "not very good", doesn't make it wrong. In fact, opinions can't be wrong, because they're opinions.
No one (and not me) is justifying her letter. Sorry for disagreeing with you on another topic, but it's honestly ridiculous that you would "not take him seriously anymore" because I disagreed with you.
No I don't take you seriously anymore because you make shitty arguments just to be some nanny apologist for whoever the minority of the week is (ex kitchen wankers)
*chuckle* Well, well, well.
Looks like this whore's alone.
Just because no one else has spoken out doesn't mean there aren't other people who find his noises annoying and extremely disruptive.
You can all sit there and be 'holier than thou' types. But my family has been visited by my mother's sister every summer consistently. She has an autistic as fuck son who wakes me(And everyone else) up by screaming at the top of his lungs, for no apparent reason. My mother's sister does NOTHING to shut him up.
This summer, my mother's sister did not visit us after my father finally got fed up and told the dumb bitch to say home with her fucked up son.
So yeah, sit there and be holy and 'civilized' but you haven't been terrorized by a fucked up and useless human being who you cannot do anything to physically or verbally, lest you antagonize everyone else for being 'intolerant'.
*chuckle* Well, well, well.
Looks like this whore's not the "only one with guts." She's alone. And she should stay that way.
I had a feeling that the woman was alone in this, not that the "other neighbors didn't have guts".

Firstly I didn't invalidate his opinion so much as I said it was shit.
Secondly (unless you read in between the lines or some shit) the post Zeke made didn't so much imply invalid opinion as much as it implied shitty opinion.
Lots of noises that happen outside are annoying to me but I don't turn into hitler over them
The worst noise ever is the bass from music being played inside a car, but I don't advocate euthanization when I hear it
The bass from a car doesn't happen for prolonged periods of time, sometimes going on for several hours. The bass from a car quickly passes. The bass from a car can wake you up in the middle of the night, but it is gone fairly quickly. This kid can start at any time for almost any length of time.
What a cunt.
And not a cunt because she's a female. She's a cunt because well anyone can guess. Fuck her.

One might say "I wish for her to have an autistic child" but honestly, she would treat the kid like shit, I'd never wish such a ignorant terrible mother on someone who can't fend for themselves.

Maybe you should write a letter to your aunt telling her to euthanize her son, since you're so above such feeble human constructs as "tolerance" and "being civilized".

And yet again you are comparing a noise that was never described in anything but subjectivity with a lone car.
Never mind the fact that you seem to ignore that if you live in a house where you get awakened by a singular car, chances are you live where more then one car passes through during the night.

Sure you may not enjoy being woken up by him.
But put yourself in his shoes for one minute, and I'm sure you'd love to be back to your normal self, and wouldn't mind being woken up or annoyed. You are much more fortunate. And after all, did that person choose to be this way? Have some respect.
Why are you calling him a useless human being? What if you were in an accident and became mentally/physically handicapped so badly that you also became a "useless human being"? Should that really be the way we should look at you?
The bass from a car doesn't happen for prolonged periods of time, sometimes going on for several hours. The bass from a car quickly passes. Obviously you don't live next to someone who drinks beer on their deck all afternoon while using their truck as the sound system
Are you acting purposely ignorant? Do you seriously not understand why she would be upset about an autistic child screaming incessantly? I know it's sad, and unfortunate, but the reality is that that child IS a nuisance, and I think her complaints are completely justified, HOWEVER the way she went about them is unjustifiable, she should had contacted the parent with more tact (that would've helped her get her way easier anyway).
That 'nuisance' you talk about is a human being with as many feelings as you and I, that because of mental impairment, has less ways to express the way they're feeling. The noises that this 'nuisance' makes are expressions of feeling, and yes those expressions and noises can get annoying, but suggesting that a parent should put a child down like they're a sick animal is insensitive and cruel. Speaking from personal experience, I have learned more about life from my severely autistic sister than anyone could ever hope to teach me, and I've been able to because I've understood from a young age that people who are developmentally challenged require tolerance and compassion. In a case like this where odds are the kid is making the noises because he's happy, I don't understand how anyone can get angry at another person's happiness. But maybe that's just because my mother raised me teaching me to tolerate and love everyone, because we're all human beings, even this 'nuisance.'

oh come on there's no way this is any worse than someone's dog barking, or those cunt birds that start calling at 5am
Sure you may not enjoy being woken up by him.

Why should someone have to deal with a nuisance just because it's a terrible situation? It's really unfortunate really.
Maybe you should write a letter to your aunt telling her to euthanize her son, since you're so above such feeble human constructs as "tolerance" and "being civilized".
Where does he mention that he would actually want to put an autistic kid to death? Stop pulling stuff out of your ass for the sake of making an argument.
Hell I live next to a house that has two yippy dogs that bark constantly. I don't go next door and tell them to go euthanize their dogs because I can't sleep.
To do so with a fucking child is something a fucking sociopath would do.
The way the message was conveyed in this letter is extremely unnecessary and offensive, but she does have a point. Imagine not even being able to keep the windows open to your house without hearing the screeching of the child on the lawn next door. The parents of the child should really be considerate since they chose to live in a close-proximity living area.
And yet again you are comparing a noise that was never described in anything but subjectivity with a lone car.
I'll reiterate: Show me a sound described as wailing that, when loud enough to be heard from one house to another, and going on for several minutes to an hour, is not dreadful or annoying.
Why should someone have to deal with a nuisance just because it's a terrible situation? It's really unfortunate really.
If you have friends/relatives that come over, and they have a mentally handicapped son, what are they supposed to do? Make him sleep outside for your comfort?
Also, he is not a nuisance. That is your mind seeing/making it that way.
The way the message was conveyed in this letter is extremely unnecessary and offensive, but she does have a point. Yes and all these horrendously debilitating horrors can be stopped by wearing earmuffs to sleep or listening to music.
If they are leaving him outside for extended periods and all he does is make extremely loud noises, then i'd get pissed too. Sure you can be understanding, but even that has a limit, especially if they live in an area with several parks or nature trails, that someone could be taken to, in addition to letting him run around outside.
Now you're making assumptions.
Who fucking cares. The child can't live a "normal" life whereas the rest of us pretty much can. He will be dependent on people for the rest of his life. He isn't entitled to make noises? Even if he does it loudly? He can't enjoy himself and vocalize himself because people like you feel uncomfortable? Because it bothers you? It impedes your "normal" life?
How the hell does the human brain allow somebody like you to be so intolerant?
If only we were allowed to euthanize assholes...
No, you can't, you CAN however file a complaint with the local police, if the owners don't listen; that is, if it bothers you that much.
Which is what this woman should have done.
And the police would probably tell her to fuck off because what moral person would go tell a mother of an autistic child that he can't be outside as often because he disturbs people's liberties.
Where does he mention that he would actually want to put an autistic kid to death? Stop pulling stuff out of your ass for the sake of making an argument.
Where did I say he said that?
He spoke in favor of the woman's actions, I compared him to her. I did not accuse him of anything except being intolerant and uncivilized, hence the "maybe".

Holy shit do you not understand the word subjective?
She could have likened the noise to an atomic bomb going off, does that mean that several windows in the neighborhood break every time he "wails".
Of course an autistic child is a nuisance, I don't really see why the woman is a terrible person for being pissed off, just because the kid is autistic doesn't take away the woman's ability/right/justification for being pissed.
Is human decency something that escapes you, along with respectable ownership of what you say around people?

Having a disease does not entitle you to be an obnoxious shit. Even if he can't control it, his parents can.
