Allow me to rip apart your argument yet another time. First off the Nazi's advocated the death of the mentally handicapped. He wasn't comparing this lady to the fucking holocaust. He was comparing her attitude to the one of Heinrich Himmler, who happened to... advocate the death of the mentally handicapped. I have a brother with severe autism. He is 18, one year behind me in age and 2 in school. He still needs my mom to bathe him and tie his shoes. He can pour his own drinks and throw away his trash. He can also use Youtube to look up disney videos and LOTR videos. He communicates through 1 or 2 word responses and only understands simple sentences. He is also really good at a lot of other things. He can write his name and write out words and process simple information given enough time and assistance. Know what he can't do? He can't control his outbursts. Obviously he can't communicate to me but I was lucky enough to speak to a lovely young girl at a pizza place a few months ago who did. She wanted to go to university to study art and she told me how loud noises affect her. It literally feels like her brain is on fire and she doesn't want to do anything else but sleep right then and there. Happens also with anything that scares her even though she is completely capable person who actually can go to college. When I go out with my brother, he loves what we do, he giggles and makes noises most people don't do. He sometimes lets out delighted shrieks that are scary if you're not expecting it, but lovely when you know what he's feeling. When he's looking into your eyes when you're just walking in the mall with him and you know he loves you and he loves his life regardless of all the struggles he has to go through. Yet, when he is faced with struggles and can't overcome them he does sometimes react with screams, very loud screams. But oh-fucking-well. It's a sound and guess what? It dissipates and doesn't do anything because the frequency of the human voice can't harm anything or anyone. They cannot control what they feel, much like this bitch complaining can't control that she feels things that make her a bitch in this situation. I have had to give up so much. I have had to stay home for the day because my 18 year old brother can't watch himself. We've had to miss out on trips because he is going through a bad phase. We have had to spend money on medication because autistic children also sometimes have other problems such as scoliosis and celiacs disease. I have never had a sleepover or had my friends over at my house because they never wanted to because they felt uncomfortable around my brother (My childhood friends sucked). We have to make sure he takes medication or else his anxiety gets so bad so much as a thump of your foot makes him yell and other medication that helps him sleep or else he would stay up until he passes out. We have to deal with assholes like the people in this thread and the bitch in the letter. People who want us to do MORE to pacify our child. As if we don't do fucking enough to try and make their life as normal and fulfilling as possible while at the same time trying to live ours. We have had to leave restaurants before finishing our food because he randomly flipped out (everybody was understanding) but it was humiliating. He has thrown up in the middle of a store because he couldn't communicate to us that he was feeling bad and he didn't even look sick. I fucking refuse to accept from people that we need to do more to take care of our brothers and sisters or whoever it is you are involved with. They are lovely people and we work hard as fuck sometimes and it is mentally straining. Of course I will accept suggestions if somebody is KNOWLEDGEABLE on the subject and with autistic children. But the rest of the dicks in the world who want us to do more can go fuck off and die for all I care because you don't have to deal with a fraction of the shit we, our our brothers and sisters with autism do.

In the case of this child, the noises that he makes may be impulse, or they may be their way of expressing themselves, because they either lack the communication skills to express themselves in words, or they don't know or can't comprehend the concept that it's considered 'inappropriate' to make loud, annoying noises, or both. When I said that autistic children have free will, I mean that their parents may not be able to control what they do, particularly when they make noises.
