It was pretty much his own fault, and I hate bullfighting. But I would Lie if I'd say he hasn't got my condolence. Though looking at it, he lost his eye, the bull lost its life.

I think bullfighting is a really stupid sport and should be stopped, but at the same time I feel sorry for the guy. I'm sure he was well aware of the dangers, but nobody deserves to have a horn shoved through their face and out of their eye socket, and still be conscious enough to feel it. On the other hand, he's fucking lucky it didn't go any higher up and hit his brain.

I'm guessing you've never seen a bullfight but just youtube it, by the end the bull is covered in it's own blood and collapses because of it, it's completely inhumane. And saying that someone would choose themselves over a pidgeon is just plain dumb, the guy was attacking the bull and it got it's own back on it.

Wow people sure hate bull fighting on here, I mean sure its mean but wanting someone to die for doing it is a bit ridiculous. Its probably one of the few job oppurtunities these guys have and probably has decent pay as well, im sure If I was in some of their situations I would probably be doing the same thing.

Wow, that video was really upsetting to me. I guess I haven't been sufficiently desensitized yet. The thing is, under any other circumstances I would be incredibly sympathetic towards that guy. Except in this case, he quite literally got what he deserved. It wasn't like he was taking a walk down the street and some animal came out of nowhere and attacked him. He was killing the animal, slowly and brutally, for entertainment, and the bull happened to get a shot in. I don't think it makes me psychotic or in need of mental assistance to acknowledge that. I can't side with a human just because I'm the same species as him, when he's literally torturing an animal to death for fun. Having said that, I wouldn't wish what happened to him on my worst enemy, and watching him stagger off in pain was probably the worst part of my day thus far.

That's circular; society is a human construct), then by that logic killing intellectually disabled people (amongst others, like certain types of criminals) would be morally equivalent to killing animals. As for the same species, well, that's something I can't argue. It's speciesist to not care about the unnecessary pain and suffering of another animal just because they happened to be born a non-human, but most humans do it.

Furthermore, any kind of safety measures are kind of incompatible with bullfighting because it's a public spectacle of the bullfighter's power over the bull.

I have sympathy for him, but he knew the risks.
