The Mos Espa set was heavily altered in post to make it look bigger. Now that I think of it, the Mos Espa set most likely [I]is[/I] the Mos Eisley set but fixed it up for The phantom menace.

It's good that Peter Jackson decided to go with the ideas of an era long forgotten for his LotR films. A perfect blend of CG and real life-sets, and not the catastrophes that are the "new" star wars films.
