So will Cruz give all his delegates to Kasich or how does that work?
Good.
I don't want a booger eater for president.
Welp, I guess it's happening.
Really didn't expect this so soon.
So will Cruz give all his delegates to Kasich or how does that work?
iirc if there is a contested convention, the delegates of candidates who had dropped out will be able to change their vote to someone else. So Cruz's delegates might choose to vote for either Trump or Kasich.
Can't blame him for dropping out. I'm guessing he wanted to pursue his true passion, corpse sculpting.
Poor ted, he could've given us more comedy.
Guess Trump is pretty much confirmed as the republican nominee.
It probably helps, if Cruz can direct his delegates to vote for Kasich. And Kasich is expected to do better in most upcoming states than he's been doing - which this will only help.
Would be weird as hell for Kasich to clinch it but I'm all for it. He's the least crazy of the Republicans, as far as I could tell.
Least crazy but just as dangerous.
Can't link it ATM, but the chairman of the RNC basically confirmed that they're putting their weight behind Trump.
If you had told me in 2012 that Donald Trump would be the Republican nominee in 2016, I'd have laughed you out of the fucking room. Is this real life?
Kanye 2020 looking more and more likely.
Least crazy but just as dangerous.
I find that very hard to believe. Kasich is pretty much a standard Republican - anti-abortion, pro-military, big on Jesus and light on Marx - but he's fundamentally a reasonable person. Probably less conservative than most Republicans - he recognizes climate change as a problem (and took actions on it), recognizes racial tensions as a problem (and took actions on it), and doesn't want to overturn Obergefell (or at least doesn't think it's a priority). I could live with that.
If it came down to Kasich vs Clinton, I would have a hard time deciding. I'd probably go third-party, because neither of them are bad enough to rally behind any and all opponents, the way Trump is.

Is Canada taking refugees? Is their Canadian Dollar getting better?

Don't be so dramatic. America will be fine regardless of who becomes President.
Why do Americans always insist they'll move to Canada at the time of every Presidential election? I don't think I've ever seen such a pack of sore losers anywhere else in the world.
Glad to see that my vote went towards nothing now.

Ted Cruz can be a Canadian refugee.
So now we're between Trump and Hillary?
I hate this election.

Because Canada is better
I didn't think this would actually happen, but there's now a chance that if Clinton wins the primaries, she might lose. Especially given that (possibly biased) poll that showed Trump being more popular than Clinton.
Ha ha ha ha ha!. She is not going to lose

What a laugh. America deserves whoever it gets.
Because Canada is better
Well why don't Americans move their at any time? People only make these threats (which they never follow up on) at the time of Presidential elections. If a candidate they like democratically loses to a candidate they don't like, they interpret that as America = fucked up beyond repair.
I definitely wouldn't want him as president, but I can't help but feel bad for him.

Not really, Clinton just won the election, trump is unelectable in the general, he won't let the RNC into his campaign so it will be 6 more months of "Hillary is so bad, she's just so bad"

Moving is a big affair that people underestimate. It's less of a big deal for me since I already have Canadian citizenship and all of my family lives there except for me, but even then it still isn't easy. Honestly if Trump were to be elected I'd say thats the first time it would be rational to make that choice to move.
