So the choice is between two right wingers?

What did I do to deserve it though?
Does that mean Cruz will return to his previous career?

Because Americans like to complain every election.
What did I do to deserve it though?
I said America, not any person individually. I'm not sure the desert trickles down that way. If you really want to push me to answer I might say something like "You didn't do enough politically to prevent this, and did not inspire others to do the same." That being said, I don't really think that's true of you personally. America as a whole is uninformed, uninvolved, or otherwise apathetically status-quo. If it really wants to be such a bastion of democratic capitalism then let it have Hillary or Trump - a person without any real opinions, or one who believes so strongly in capitalism that he bankrupted companies multiple times. It seems like a match made in heaven.

What would happen if we spread a rumor that trump is a crossdresser?
What would happen if we spread a rumor that trump is a crossdresser?
He'd probably point at his clothes during an event and talk about how manly they are for 30 minutes.
What would happen if we spread a rumor that trump is a crossdresser?
I think that would be insulting to crossdressers.
All that really needs to be said about Trump is the truth - he's driven several businesses into the ground through his incompetence, he's run pyramid schemes and other scams, he's lied consistently and shamelessly, he panders to the worst people in the country, and his plans are demonstrably bad, if not impossible.
What would happen if we spread a rumor that trump is a crossdresser?
There's more crossdressers on FP then there are Donald Trumps.

This is a much more scary election imo. I feel like some of the candidates will honestly put people's lives at risk
Oh god. I'm legitimately afraid for the general now. I never thought Trump would get the nomination. I was sure that it would be contested and the republicans would've chosen Cruz or Rubio. I guess the republicans value unity and political strength over their platform.
Also, I feel like Trump has met with party leaders to convince them he's not as crazy as he seems.
Fuck, I really hope Clinton wins.
Sanders supporters: I'm pretty facetious with politics here, but I really hope you'll vote Clinton, write in Bernie, or Jill Stein this election. Your vote is yours, and I respect your right to vote 3rd party, but don't vote republican just to spite the DNC. You're playing with more than just your right to participate in primaries here, you're playing with the future of immigrants, women's health, gay marriage, the economy, etc. here, and it's far more important, in my opinion, than the primary process. I think Bernie has had more impact on this election than any other candidate, honestly. He's single-handedly defined the democratic platform for the coming 4 years, and dragged it far more left than Obama could have. We talk about universal healthcare, maternity leave, basic income, and other things of this nature because of you and Sanders. Voting 3rd party may not be throwing your vote away, but voting for Trump definitely is. With Clinton, or your 3rd party candidate, you at least have a chance of seeing your principles and views implemented, but if you vote Trump, you're throwing away all the hard work you've done over the last year or so and allowing American politics to regress further to the right than it was at when Bush left office

I'm writing in Sanders. Democracy will decide who America deserves.

Damn, can I use this whenever I see Bernie supporters talk about voting for Trump?
I'm writing in Sanders. Democracy will decide who America deserves.
Democracy will decide Trump will win the election by a landslide, because you would be contributing to splitting the Democrat-leaning vote.
If Hillary wins the Democrat nomination, then if at the general election the Democrat-leaning vote is 52% and the Republican-leaning vote is 48%, and if 10% of Democrat-leaning voters write-in Sanders, that would give Trump the election.

I can't believe you can sit here and support hillary clinton with a straight face, if there is one person on this earth that is a "reptilian", that scumbag of a woman is it. ANYTHING but Clinton.

I absolutely do not want either Hillary or Trump. If the majority doesn't agree with me -- so be it and it will just prove my point that the DNC and RNC control the votes and its not a truly democratic process.

Either you're only pretending to be retarded, or you seriously didn't even bother to read anything else he wrote. Unless voting for fucking Jill Stein or writing in Sanders anyway= voting for Hillary, literally everything you said is irrelevant, and I'm ashamed that I am technically on your side.
I hope trump wins, I think it would be interesting to see a non-politician as president. We have had worse presidents so the country is not going to fucking fall apart. I am certain it is either going to be Trump or Clinton. Small chance of bernie. (Come on just give it at least 4 years to test the waters guys it can't be that bad)
I hate Hillary Clinton but if she becomes president I am not going to move to fucking canada like some of you guys are saying, I will just deal with it. Those who are highly against trump should stop over-reacting.
I guarantee Trump will be more level-headed in the white-house, he is just acting the way he does because people are tired of the same Politically Correct shit coming out of politicians mouth. It is refreshing to see a nominee straight up put his opponents on blast, it is hilarious.
TRUMP 2016

what do you think hillary clinton would do in office that would negatively impact your life in any way
what do you think hillary clinton would do in office that would negatively impact your life in any way
Personally the only thing that bother me with her is her stance on guns, everything else is really in my opinion "I don't like that policy".
For those who are against Trump, seriously look into his policies, they aren't too bad, you might not like him but he isn't going to be fucking Hitler 2.0.
That's the way I feel about Clinton, I don't want her in the White-House, but if she gets in I am not going to bitch and scream "IM MOVING TO CANADA". I will just make do.
No one should do that.
