That's quite beautiful.

I'm right in the middle of it at the moment, I've never seen anything like it in my life. Does this happen commonly in other parts of the world? I'm interested. :aaaaa:

Yeah, we had one a few months ago, here in Saudi Arabia.
Then we all got rags and wrapped them around our faces and went out.
Shit was so awesome.

But it was much dustier than that and you couldn't see any further than 10~20 meters away.
IRL blowout.
I got up at like 10:30 so all I got to see was my car covered in dirt.
Wasn't fun to clean either.

My Grandma lives there and she was away when it happened and when she came home her entire kitchen floor was covered in dust. Who knows how it got inside.

Haha, well played
People still had to go to school, and all the smoke alarms and shit were going off. Or at least that's what I heard, I woke up at like 12 so the sky was only yellow.
I gotta see this for myself one day.
This is why Norway isn't awesome. Damnit, i've always wanted to live in Autralia/New Zealand. Mostly because of the weather and awesome landscape.

Man, it would be so wierd waking up one day and seeing that everything is red like that.
Reminds me of this.

So how long have you lived on Mars?
It's funny, because red sky and rain is one of the signs of chaos invasion.
Thats God's wrath for banning Left 4 Dead 2

I heard it was because the dust was very very fine and heaps of dust would just get through little cracks under doors, windows, vents......

We had skies like this in Melbourne when we had those really bad bushfires early this year.
It wasn't as vibrant red as Sydney's was, but it stayed around for a few days.
