UK anti-zombie student finds a Brain like object in his KFC meal

He's saying that to avoid embarrassment.
In the fancier restaurants, chicken brain would probably be a delicacy anyway.
A friend of mine had the exact same thing and posted it on Facebook.

Seems like a lot of people have had this so may as well add more to the trend.
Looks like a vertebrae attached.
It says right in the article that it's a kidney.
it's not a kidney and whoever thought it was is an idiot
what's the best non-musclemeat to eat on a chicken
i had a heart once but it was overcooked, like chewing on a hard gumball that was meat flavored.
best tasting or most nutritious? former would be feet, latter would probably be liver if I had to guess
Doesn't bother me, KFC here in Australia has never let me down.
But... don't end up like that girl and never eat the twisters here
Looks too big for a chicken kidney. If it we a liver I may have believed them. Either way, gross.
Looks kinda like the chickens gizzard.
and this is why Nando's will always be superior to KFC

Not that much more expensive? It's like 2-3 times the price
In the south they had a buffet in a KFC and we thought they had chicken nuggets (this was like 9 years ago when all they served was chicken and sides so it got us excited) and we ate like 30 each of us. Then midway through we actually bothered to read the sign on the buffet "breaded chicken gizzards". We were like "eww" then stopped caring because it was delicious.
What is the greyish goop-like stuff above the 'brain' in the photo? I don't eat chicken
Yeah I remember when I found one in my KFC and thought they were brains. My mom was able to ID it pretty quickly, but I was a bit freaked out.
I must be glad Australia's KFC Branch gets their chicken from Inghams Enterprises (Even through I could literally buy said company product it from the shops and have a nice meal without the greasy shit they throw the chicken into)
Looks pretty big for a kidney.
When it comes to the looks I'd probably wouldn't like to eat that. But a part of me is curious about the taste.
I find that they don't care ( well all fast food joints don't care ) but they don't even pretend to care in Canada
That's what I like with Sweden, there's some aura around allergies that makes everyone very serious. Even in the fast food restaurants.
Didn't KFC make somebody retarded before?
Something in the fish they ate messed up their brain
That is my biggest fucking fear seriously
Being born mentally healthy and then BLAM, tard
I wish I had never clicked on this thread.
Now whenever I think about it I get sick to my stomach.
He should have just had the chicken fillets. Man those things are tasty and you probably won't get organs in them. I think I ate enough KFC in the past 2 years of college for a lifetime though.
I clicked on the article, more intrigued about 'anti-zombie' studies in the UK.
brains can be tasty
never been to KFC, never will.
Meat/Fat is just as much as an organ, and that is the prime component. But honestly, society is probably better with an inherent taboo against eating stuff that looks like organs. I mean sure, he thought it was gross, but only because he was raised to think eating shit like that was gross, and seeing it in some greasy ass dirty chicken you ordered is pretty horrifying.
Fat is not an organ.
Okay, it doesn't look nice, but it's literally a case of finding meat in your meat. If you really want to, write a letter or whatever to KFC complaining about it, but taking up with national news is a bit rich, and kinda comes across as someone trying to wring money of the situation somehow.
And that's why I don't eat fast food any more.
I once had some chicken from KFC, peeled the skin off and there was the chicken's hair / feathers / whatever it was poking through
Now I only eat popcorn chicken
Well, that's unfortunate. Better to get your fried chicken from a different chain in that case, or even learn to cook your own. Cooking is a science, yes, but it isn't that complicated; though you'd probably need to precook the chicken before dipping it in the batter mix and putting it into the deep fryer, not to mention knowing the right temperature and the right duration for keeping the chicken submerged in the searing oil.
I think I found one of those before, it was about the size of a jellybean or smaller, and it was in a chicken breast.
i'm sure he'll be back in KFC in no time.
Brain thread? Time to pop in!
Just to confirm what has already been established; no, it's not a brain. Why?
The gyri (hills) and sulci (valleys) are too small and too densely packed. It also doesn't seem to possess an bilateral pattern.
Being the most neurological advanced animal on the planet, humans have a richly folded cortex, which gives us that extra bit of grey matter and efficient connectivity. This is too much for being a "simple" animal.
