I am split on this. He killed four people, but obviously did so without intent.
Putting him in jail likely would not do much and he probably has prior arrests. People like him don't change.

I agree with this charge. Just because you didn't intend to kill someone with your car while intoxicated, doesn't mean you didn't know the risks of driving drunk. He is stupid, remove him from the gene pool. You can't make up for a mistake that claims an innocent person's life.

I mean if he was in charge of driving a crane and something happened which caused someone to die by accident. That'd be a risk associated with the job and he shouldn't be sentanced for that as he was just doing his job and also, accidents happen.
Driving drunk is illegal and fucking stupid as you aren't in the right state of mind to be behind the wheel of a multi-ton motor. He shouldn't have done it, people died, now he pays the price.

That was not an accident. Dropping the soap and slipping on it in the shower is an accident. Getting drunk, then deciding to drive, knowing full well you're in no shape to be operating a vehicle, is [i][b]murder[/b][/i]. He was hardly helpless. You're helpless when you pass out on the floor, not when you're able to walk to your car, get in, start it and drive away.
I would compare this to leaving a gas line open all night in a factory or something, on purpose, so that when someone turns on a lightswitch in the morning, the entire place blows sky high.
