Didn't Arnold say he wanted to come back for the remake?
Didn't Arnold say he wanted to come back for the remake?
arnold always claims to come back
Here's hoping it sticks with the spirit of the classic original. Also, how did the Predators film turn out in the end? You know, the one with multiple predators and a bunch of abductees dropped into an alien jungle?
Weirdly enough I just watched that movie last night. It was awful.
I wish Predators was done in the style of BRODYQUEST but with a jungle backdrop.
didn't the big nose pianist guy star in a predator remake?
so the predator's where Nazi's
it will be bad, doesn't matter who they get to write/direct/act in it.
it will be bad, doesn't matter who they get to write/direct/act in it.
but will it be better than the Amazing Spider-Man Reboot hmmmmmm.? that's what we should ask.
it will be bad, doesn't matter who they get to write/direct/act in it.
What an incredibly ridiculous statement.
Predator is my favorite movie of all time. There's absolutely no way they can make it better, except having better video quality and sounds. How the hell they're suppose to make dialogs even more memorable?
What the hell, I don't remember people disliking Predators this much. Also Predators was clearly a sequel since they directly mention the first film in the movie.
Are we sure its going to be the same plot as the first? Like, same characters, different actors? The idea behind Predator can work pretty well for a variety of different scenarios, characters, and settings.
At the least it'll be better than Predator 2. Hated that shit.

In the city, it was a cool concept, but it was just executed so poorly in Predator 2. It was way too cheesy.
I hope Adrian Brody isn't chosen as the lead because during Predators Brody Quest kept playing in my head.
I didn't mind Adrian Brody as the lead.
I'm happy aslong as Adrien Brody gets put in good movies. Sometimes I still enjoy his bad ones just because he's in it. [sp]Watched The Experiment two times[/sp]
The only reason I don't have high hopes for this is because it'll probably be like every other action movie these past few years where there's only like two fight scenes and way too many shots of the male and female lead gazing into each others eyes (looking at you, Expendables)
As long as it's better than AVP 1&2 and Predator 2, I'm ok with this Fuck, now that I look at it, only 1 Predator movie doesnt suck. That's sad
Out, somewhere in Hollywood, yet another aspiring screenwriter nobody has ever heard of with an awesome, original script is passed over for yet another remake/sequel/prequel.
I prefer the term reprequel
It's not a reboot, it's another sequel. http://collider.com/predator-reboot-sequel-shane-black/
While the initial report said that Black’s new Predator film would be a reboot, Black tells us that he and Dekker see the project as definitely not a reboot, “As far as Fred and I are concerned anyway,” Black said, adding “Why start over, when you’ve all this rich mythology yet to mine?” Black said he doesn’t like reboots generally, but can “really get behind inventive sequels”, noting that he likes “the idea of expanding and exploring the existing Predator mythology, rather than hitting the restart button.” He went on to say that Dekker, who’s writing the screenplay, is “perfect” for the project, adding the two had a blast writing the screenplay for The Monster Squad together.
I don't get it, what's everyone's gripe against Predator 2? I liked it more then the first one.
no one could replace Arnold Schwarzenegger. get to da choppa
I don't get it, what's everyone's gripe against Predator 2? I liked it more then the first one.
I liked it, but honestly it felt way more cheesy than the first one. Bill Paxton in particular was pretty hammy.
I don't get it, what's everyone's gripe against Predator 2? I liked it more then the first one.
I always thought the same, though I like both equally. Honestly I wish they'd make an avp movie based on the games (future setting and colonial marines)

If you want to continue your Predator adventures just read the comics by Dark Horse.
If you want to continue your Predator adventures just read the comics by Dark Horse.
Those are universally awful.
Bloody loved Predators:
Out, somewhere in Hollywood, yet another aspiring screenwriter nobody has ever heard of with an awesome, original script is passed over for yet another remake/sequel/prequel.
Uh I'm sorry no It's not like there are a set number of movies that can be made a year and every reboot stops a good movie from happening Like even as a joke this is just ridiculous and borderline edgy If a script is good enough, Hollywood isn't going to say "Hmm, we could do that, but how about a new Alien movie?"
