You have to wonder if that split in the Jewish vote in NYC is a drawback to democracy as while the majority of Jewish vote pressuring the mayor is exactly how democracy works - will of the majority regardless of it's morality regarding settlements in a foreign country. Regardless I think that the whole "Jewish Money supporting Israel" is really an exaggeration. To be frank Jewish people don't have the money to enforce the bribery of the foreign policies of the entire US government, compared to that of everyone else, so one has to assume that the will of the majority of Americans is that of supporting Israel, probably on religious grounds. But to say that Jewish money is the cause reeks of racism and Nazism.
