You're not taking into account a few things, like people's rights to do what they want to their body, that legalization would lower violent crime, the fact that not every stoner is a dumbass in high school, and finally that correlation doesn't equal causation. PS, it's punishing to the people who don't talk about smoking but just do it quietly in their own house.

I used to live next door to pretty much the main drug dealer for my town, mum said she'd esentially murder him on the spot where he stood if any of his shit got into our garden when me and my sisters were kids, one time mum put up a sign saying he was a druggie and he threatened to sue for slander rather amusingly, he then died of cancer sometime last year which is karma I guess.
