the console is 100$ more than the ps4 and has no used games (and if your banned by their 3 strikes system you lose all of them forever). Xbox live gold is 60$ a year (10$ a month, thats 5$ more than ps4, and ps4 might most likely have free online, thats 5$ for PSN+), it has a kinect that can track your every movement and emotion and must be online at all times, and it will check in every 24 hours. without gold you cannot play online, use netflix, use IE, or any online services oh but theres no blunt ads anymore so theres that however it's most likely that they will just add them later on.
Yeah theyll be in your games instead! :v:
MASTER CHIEF WE NEED YOU THE COVENANT ARE ATTACKING THE DORITOS FACTORY
Uh, yeah, no. Bullshit. I doubt that will happen. I mean the 360's dashboard was littered with ads, I doubt MS will just do away with those advertisements.
oh stop with this crap. if xbox one gets any good news its always considered bullshit, but if ps4 gets any good news its like "PRAISE SONY"

I've never understood why people go crazy over Sony charging $5 a month for online like it's some great deal. I can go buy an XBox Live card at 7-11 for $60 for a full year and usually an extra month or two.

However, considering all the benefits it has over Live Gold accounts, I can consider it nowhere near as troublesome. Apparently they're also trying to make Gold account subscriptions $5 a month for the Xbox One as well, but I have no confirmation on that. [editline]15th June 2013[/editline] Also you don't need to pay Gold to play Xbox One games, but you need Gold to play them online, so yeah.
Yeah but, who wants to play nothing but single player?
To be honest, I was raised on single-player and splitscreen. And when it comes to things like Call of Duty, playing them online makes me a miserable individual because of how 'I spawn, I die' it can get for me. So I can appreciate singleplayer and bot matches for what they're worth.

It's cutting off half of the console and charging you to rent it, because honestly, that's what you're doing by buying the Xbox One. You're signing a contractual rental agreement and nothing more.
I liked that Dashboard. It was straight forward with everything.
It was also slow as shit and the design went out of any reasonable style past 2009.
The only catch is it now requires one vial of blood to confirm you are indeed the original owner upon start-up.
Oh for fuck's sake no! I loved accidentally selecting the advert tiles and having an ad suddenly blare out of my speakers, that was half the reason why I owned an Xbox! [editline]15th June 2013[/editline]
I liked that Dashboard. yeah right. We can't escape the future.

Didn't realize there were 6 months in a year.
I think you messed up on your math there a lil'. Didn't realize there were 6 months in a year.
It's 60 dollars a year if you buy the yearly subscription. It's more expensive if you buy in singular months. Same with PS+.
I suppose with microsoft spouting whatever bullshit comes to mind, they were bound to say SOMETHING good eventually. Oh well, far too late microsoft. I'm getting a PS4...AND THERE AIN'T SHIT YOU CAN DO ABOUT IT! God....why have microsoft been doing their damnest (or at least seems that way in my eyes) to make everyone hate them?
To anyone still on about the price of the Xbox One compared to the PS4. To be fair, Microsoft comes with the Kinect. PS4 doesn't come with the eye thing. PS4 - $400 Eye - $60 PS + - $50(?) = $510 Xbox One - $500 Xbox Live - $50 = $550 $40 isn't much of a difference looking at a price of a game console. If one (just looking at price) can afford the PS4, they could easily be able to dish out another $40-$50 for an Xbox One (if they wanted to)

The PS Eye is literally an accessory that you don't have to give a shit for except for certain games that might support it or specific features.

I'm still not seeing the big deal about the Kinect having to be plugged in. You could always shove it behind your TV if you don't use it which is what I would most likely do if I had one :v: [editline]1[/editline] The only real problems I cannot blame people complaining about, are the used games policy and always online stuff (which I do condone). Most of the other stuff is just nonsense imo.

Its called the Xbox One because it has one thing that is better than the 360

Kinect on the other hand is and you NEED it on if you want to play your Xbone.
Seems some news are getting better about the Xbox One. Like how you can choose up to ten people on your friends list to share games with.
Loving it. [img_thumb]http://i.imgur.com/AQbQnj4.jpg[/img_thumb]
12x$5 = $60? Just like Xbox Live?
Not quite, Sony is offering it at $50 for 12 months. Live is $60/12 months. However, you can currently buy Live at Walmart for $50/12 months. [editline]15th June 2013[/editline]
Yeah but eyetoy isn't mandatory and enforced... I believe the only part that cannot be turned off is the sound receiver.

I've never seen it above $50, and it emails the code directly to you after purchase.
I usually just get an online game code off of Amazon each year on my birthday. I've never seen it above $50, and it emails the code directly to you after purchase.
That is surprisingly convenient. Cheaper than going through MS and they email it to you.
12x$5 = $60? Just like Xbox Live?
Well no, considering if it was like Xbox Live and you payed $10 per month it would be $120 for XBLA.
Well no, considering if it was like Xbox Live and you payed $10 per month it would be $120 for XBLA.
That's exactly why you don't pay for anything longterm in short term increments.
Loving it. [img_thumb]http://i.imgur.com/AQbQnj4.jpg[/img_thumb]
You can already family share with the PS3 it would seem. My dad has PS+ on his account and downloads free games and I can play them on my account.
