Will I still be crucified for admitting that I like their Black Parade album? Never got around to listening to any of their other stuff; but the Parade was a nice shot at a concept album in a time sorely lacking in that department, and every song had a little something to it that I enjoyed.

i've always thought of my chemical romance as a band of talented musicians plagued by the fact that they tried very hard to be what people thought was "emo". like they would have be good if their lyrics weren't so shitty, but they fucked themselves over from the start. on the subject of emo, i have a lot of respect for early emo bands, especially those who came out of seattle. i suggest anyone who hates emo to check bands like sunny day real estate and texas is the reason out. this song showed me that emo mutated into a monster during the 2000's. I assume some of the band members don't like 'the transition' that the killjoys album started aka moving away from Emo. Wouldn't be surprised if Gerard forms a new band though, he really likes the name 'Killjoys'.
