headstones with QR codes: trolling beyond the grave

QR codes have to be completely intact to function properly, while text is still readable even when the weather has eaten away at the engraving for decades or even centuries - only the most exposed or poorly maintained headstones becoming illegible.
This is too easily damaged to last very long.

I still don't get these things. :raise:
All I know is that they're somehow supposed to evoke a response, and there is one on a box downstairs.

Gonna get dumbs.
You scan it with a bar code reader or a camera phone, and it leads to a URL. It stores information in the pixels.
It would be interesting to hear the entire story of someone's life just by looking at their grave.
This would be pretty amazing, maybe not for every single person but for people who led an interesting life with a tail worth reading. It would be a bit like an interactive museum.

You live in Gaza the whole place is basically a cemetery.
Why can you access a map to the grave, if you just scanned it in person?
I want to have the worlds largest porn-stash on my gravestone. :quagmire:
One more reason to get cremated.
Shock site link on gravestone
Yep, trolling beyond the grave.
dude I want a camera in my coffin. When people walk by it sends them a picture of my body at the time they walked by.
It would come with a caption saying 'I still look better than you'
you could carve it into the stone you know
Yes you can but does it look like that's carved into the stone?
Wasn't there a movie about something like this? Not QR codes, but some kind of implant at birth that records everything the person sees during their life, and it's edited when they die and made into a movie to remember them by. Anyone know what movie I'm talking about? I can't remember the name -.-
