In my opinion, Halo 1, 2 and ODST were really great.

Sure, Halo 2 wasn't the best port out there and did indeed have it's share of problems, but it wasn't the same fucking game as Halo 2 on the Xbox. It had higher resolution textures, ran in an HD format, mod support, and ran at 60+FPS.

I've always enjoyed Halo for the social experience, especially when it comes to Bungie's Halo. Even to this day me and my friends who have been with the franchise since day 1 get together and play them. You don't have to like Halo, nobody is making you. But there is no reason to be so negative towards to the people who still do.

Well I hope they're just dismissing it because they have their own marketing plans and don't want the community at large to pre-hype a new Halo PC title... I don't use consoles any more, so I'm essentially waiting for everything beyond Halo 2 to be made available on a PC so I can get the whole experience. They're simple games, but I found the story enjoyable and the soundtrack is nice, so I would really like to play the whole lot.

Watch history repeat itself when they use Halo 3 as the carrot to get people to buy Windows 9. Then a month later it be reveled that there was actually nothing preventing the ancient game from running on Windows 7 or I guess 8.
