Well hey, that was during the 40's when it was happening, rules and standards change, you know :v:
That was years before that even existed.

As in, they named it "XD" before "XD" meant that stupid ass laughing smiley.
Oh okay
I thought the disney channel was trying to get ~~~hip~~ with da kidz
Phineas and Ferb aint that bad, its a kids show but It reminds me a lot of the old cartoons I used to watch. Quite clever sometimes.
Could have been worse.

According to Gary Marsh, President of Entertainment for Disney Channel Worldwide, "XD" does not "stand for anything" and was chosen simply because it looked "cool". Marsh notes that "the letter X has many cool associations" and that "the beauty of it is the audience can imbue it with all sorts of positive attributes.
EVEN YET, THERE IS STILL HOPE FOR MAN
It is incredible what people do when they have no ideas
Clayton got hanged and shot the main characters father
Scar was eaten alive
A woman rapidly aged and died on screen.
Bambi's goddamn mom's death
A man got dragged to hell
A computer program caused near-genocide
The Black Couldron had to be edited down to keep from getting a PG-13
There was cold-blooded murder of two people by a toon (One offscreen, one onscreen)
So, yeah, you have no right to complain about violence in disney. I'm sorry, it's just always happened.
Not to mention that the entirety of the Three Caballeros is essentially an acid trip.
Especially the part about Mexico.
Phineas and Ferb is pretty much the only decent Disney channel show out right now.
It's also the (pretty sure) the only cartoon amongst an absolute fuckton of live action, laugh track-infested "sitcoms" which can all be summed up as "LOL WE'RE KIDS/TEENS DOING THINGS NORMAL KIDS/TEENS DON'T DO AND WE HAVE THE MOST TRIVIAL PROBLEMS BUT HOLY SHIT OUR LIVES ARE SO HARD BY THE WAY DID I MENTION THE LEAD ACTRESS IS ALSO A POP STAR cue laugh track lolololol"
I don't even like to be around the tv anymore because that shit is all my sister watches and it makes me want to pull my hair out, it's so bad
unless Deadpool is making an appearance, I will not be interested.
Hell, I will pretend this does not exist.
I hate to tell you but marvel characters are getting more and more popular thanks to block buster movies and videogames like Marvel vs Capcom. Plus new 52's series isnt really getting much acclaim last time i heard.
Yeah but I am talking about the comics, not the films
Not many people still read comics, but when they do, it's Batman
It could have been Spiderman & Mickeymouse team up.
Which would have been bad ass.
Or even Mickymouse and the Punisher. :v:
Kingdom Hearts has always been a cross-over between Disney and Final Fantasy. What does Marvel have to do with it?
I don't know why you're all pissed, Phineas and Ferb is a great show.

n...no...no-but...no...
It's owned by Disney, isn't it?
Not quite. It's developed and published by Square Enix. I still don't understand your logic.
Its basic premise is that various Disney and Final Fantasy characters live in separate worlds until shit happens and the protagonist ends up meeting Donald and Goofy. It doesn't have anything to do with Marvel.
The Scrooge McDuck universe is pretty popular in Europe, and the Avengers universe is popular pretty much anywhere. It doesn't mean that you will suddenly see Hulk help Scrooge and his nephews reclaim the Crown of Genghis Khan, just because Disney holds the license for both of these universes.
Cross-over universes aren't just a melting pot for all of the universes a company owns. They still have limitations and established canon.
Out of all of the IPs Disney owns, they couldn't have picked a better crossover than this?
For fucks' sake, Goddamn Mickey Mouse or Donald Duck would have been more interesting than this shit.

It has sort of already happened. And it's really popular in Italy.
Phineas and Ferb is the only Disney show I can watch these days that I actually enjoy.
rate me dumb, you know i'm right.

probably more fitting for this thread, as well
R.I.P. Marvel
R.I.P. Marvel
you shut up with that shit.
That Green Lantern episode of Duck Dodgers was pretty good.
It could have been Spiderman & Mickeymouse team up.

Or even Mickymouse and the Punisher. :v:
I might watch that.
This animated version of spider-man is god awful, should of stuck with spectacular
you shut up with that shit.
Why?
Why?
The end of Marvel is not going to come just because of a (Possibly) Lousy crossover.
The end of Marvel is not going to come just because of a (Possibly) Lousy crossover.
But they could keep spewing out (possibly) lousy cross overs and ruin the image of marvel.
meh I don't care, DC characters are better
Heck Batman is the only reason there still is a comic book industry
Hahahaha, no. DC characters are unimaginative, uninteresting and overall just boring and stupid as fuck.
But they could keep spewing out (possibly) lousy cross overs and ruin the image of marvel.
Ah bullshit! Marvel is going to have fans. Marvel is also is going to have true fans who won't care if they have (Possibly) Lousy crossovers and just stick with the comics.
