there is no contradictions, he's saying that people are equality despite being different, difference in strength, intelligence or skills doesn't mean you're not equal. or at least it shouldn't

While there's no way to ever achieve true equality in all senses, the best we can do is not be scummy towards those who happen to be less fortunate. That's about all mankind needs to learn to do, imho.
