I bet they finish scrolls before minecraft too
Uh, yeah. Because it's a card game.
That's like saying "I bet they'll finish building a tent before they finish building a house."
I'm really thinking I need to give Minecraft another shot, I just didn't enjoy it before, but everyone seems to love it.
I for one hope this flops, and Mojang realise they need to stick to what they're good at. Because nobody I know wants to play this.
I would never play a online card game, let alone a real life one, I did that shit when I was 8 and watched pokemon. Never even played the card game correctly either.

Im just saying, I want minecraft to be updated every friday like before, not having it take one month for every update, wheres our nightly builds he was talking about. Prioritize on the game that made you, not the game that no one will play.
More people should be working on finishing the first game they started with. Especially considering it's the game that made the company exist in the first place.
I suppose, but I'm sure the people who are working on Scrolls are still working on Minecraft if something important pops up. I'd be surprised if they were 100% dedicated to the development of Scrolls.
Just because it was updated a week ago doesn't mean it's updated regularly. Once every month isn't that regular, especially when taking the fact that notch updated every few days before the company.
Too much credit is given to minecraft for it's updates. Any game that is alpha or beta gets updates. GMod is getting as many updates than minecraft is at the minute, and it was released ~5 years ago.
Relatively speaking, you're right, Minecraft isn't being updated regularly. I personally don't have too much of an issue with the current rate of update releases. The weekly Friday releases were nice, but were completely unrealistic, they were bound to end at some point. Not counting bugfixes for either game, I'd say Garry's mod gets about the same rate of content updates as Minecraft.
Quite honestly, I don't think Notch has the maturity to handle a substantial amount of money.
I like how money can change the personality of someone so much. I liked Notch more before he got rich as fuck.

He has more maturity than a vast majority of celebrities that have more money than him. :v:
I'm not that worried.
Also why are people demonizing him now? He's working on a side project and you're beginning to portray him as some money grubbing piece of shit, a la Kotick.

Might not be a problem for you personally but that doesn't change the fact something is horrendously wrong if a game which isn't finished yet gets the same rate of updates as a 5 year old game.

The money is getting to his head.
He wants to be a better company than Valve, which was the main reason he declined the offer to work for them. Seems pretty arrogant if you ask me.

Well, you could argue that anyone who competes with Valve would want to be better than them.
Hopefully he declined the job for his own reasons that weren't out of arrogance or related to money.
